It's grill season at Bianco's and we're fired up to talk BBQ, Smokers and Charcoal
With our new location at 1224 The Kingsway, we now have the space required to be able to bring your a great selection of quality BBQs in Sudbury. Our team has partnered with the top quality chefs at Weber to bring you great deals this season. You'd be surprised to see the improvements in the technology of BBQs in recent years, here are our top five highlights:
1 - iPhone is the new thermometer
Did you know you can check if your steak is done from your smartphone? With the newest technology from Weber, you can measure the internal temperature of steak on the grill using Bluetooth technology. Their iGrill can adapt to grills both new and old.
2 - Improved Smoker Technology
The tried and true method of preparing ribs, smoker technology has significantly improved over the last five years for a true smokey flavour with fall-off-the-bone ribs. In fact, at Sudbury's Ribfest, you can guarantee the "ribbers" are smoking their ribs before putting them on the grill. When you're having the boss over for dinner, it's time to break out the smoker!
3 - Charcoal is the classic art of BBQ
The original art of barbeque - charcoal brings out those juicy flavours and ignites them back into the meat you've got on the grill. The classic charcoal taste your parents loved growing up will be sure to give a nostalgic taste to their Sunday dinner. Check out this video from Wired Magazine:

4 - Cooking Pizza on the BBQ
Cooking pizza on your bbq has never been easier. Whether you have a specific pizza flat board or not, you can cook your pizza from start to finish in just 10 minutes. Check out the video below to see our friends at Weber making it happen on a charcoal grill.
- Preheat your grill, cook the pizza dough for four minutes.
- Remove the pizza and dress it with ingredients.
- Drop it back onto the grill for four minutes, let the cheese melt in with the dough.
- Enjoy!
5 - Flavourizer Bars, keep the flavour in your food and not in your grill
"Those things the juice drips onto" are more than just protection from flare ups, they are designed to capture the juice from the meet and allow that taste to flow back up onto the grill. These flavorizer bars play a big role in allowing the flavour of your marinade or sauce to come to life in your steak.
Our team at Bianco's is committed to giving you top notch grill advice and so we've recently attended the Weber Grill Academy to learn from masters and hope to pass on what we've learned to you. Come into the store and see some of Sudbury's best grills at 1224 The Kingsway!
