3 Nice range with one major flaw

Nice range, with proper operation of both the stove and the oven, with reasonable fan noise nevel, yet with one major flaw: the openings to dissipate the heat from the oven are at the back of the stove fully exposed to whatever residues may be released from cooking (oil, sauce, etc.) How to clean the lost food elements that fall in the openings? It would have been great if the designers would have thought about that issue. Some makers release the heat around the knobs at the front, others direct the openings towards the back so that they are not exposed to the stove cooking. Could Electrolux at least sell a cover (to be used when not using the oven)? I would be interested.

5 Exceeded expectations!

After substantial research to find an induction range, with knobs, no WIFI, and a commercial, freestanding look, we decided to try the Electrolux. Limited reviews on this, made us a bit skeptical, although given the poor reviews on, similarranges, we felt it was reasonable. Pros: - The build quality feels tough and robust. Stianless is straight, and appears to be of a thick gauge. - Knobs! allows for quick temp changes, and very user friendly for those tha grew up with gas stoves. - The looks - without the soffit around the legs, you can achieve the freestanding look of $10,000 ranges. - volume - Some comparable ranges have loud fans that operate all the time. This on appears to have a few levels, so depending on your stove temp settings, the sound adjusts. The fan is a bit louder when broiling at 550, although nothing you cant have a conversation over. - Baking results - the stove appears to be even temperature throughout, and bakes marvelous cookies, roasts, and sourdough Areas for improvement: - The user settings take a bit of getting used to. After two months we are starting to "memorize" the sequencing of things, although some thought could be put into improves sequencing of settings. For awareness to potential buyers - all stove settings are selected using the knobs. there are no digital buttons like many stoves. Summary: All in all, we are very happy with our purchase, and the stove exceeded our expectations in almost every area!

2 Great unit... but don't get it wet!

Was great for just over a year, but then I had a pot overboil, and took it off the range quickly. Grabbed a cloth to wipe up the water, but then noticed the front clock/oven display didn't show any text, and there's a constant clicking sound. I didn't expect such an expensive range to have a problem with water getting into it.

1 The worst.

Literally the worst experience I've had with an appliance in 50 years. Stopped working within days of installation- the mysterious 'err8'. Multiple repair visits and it finally worked. Then 2 days after the 1-year warranty expires, same error. We will be on our 3rd repair visit next week to see if their new idea of what's wrong can be fixed. We've had this lemon for 13 months and it's only worked for 11 months. Ugh. They just told us we should have bought the extended warranty. Such a disappointment.

1 DO NOT BUY AN INDUCTION STOVE

Note that all these positive reviews are after a few months of use. We bought a house that had a 3 year Electrolux 30" Induction Stove. Loved it! then it just popped one night cooking dinner and it just shut down. Had to replace the mother board at a cost of about $2500. That was about 2 years ago. Tonight it just happened again. Cooking dinner and "Pop". Stopped working again. Not spending another $2500 to replace the mother board. Going back to gas.

4 Absolutely great!

Purchased Dec. 1, 2022. I just love it! Would like more glide rails for oven racks. They are super great! Can’t find out where to buy accessories nor can I find a parts list. With this info, rating would be 5 stars.

2 Very disappointed

Very pricey oven that has a clock that will not keep accurate time and a front element that periodically turns itself off. Have had it serviced a couple of times with some parts replaced but the issue persists. Other features have been very good but it's hard to be impressed when the simple features do not work.

2 A bit early to say for sure...

We bought this range last week and have had it for a total of 6 days. We bought it just in time for a family (Canadian) thanksgiving dinner after our previous stove stopped working unexpectedly. _x000D_ _x000D_ We were originally going to buy a much less expensive induction range but ended up buying this one as we liked the aesthetics, the fact that the cooktop had knobs instead of a panel, and the expectation that this would be a high quality and reliable option. It was the most expensive induction range available to us at the store._x000D_ _x000D_ During thanksgiving dinner, the oven unexpectedly shut off and flashed an err2 warning. We were able to turn it off and back on again and everything worked fine for the rest of the meal however it did cause a fair bit of undue stress... Especially since I can't find a single piece of information on this error code on the web or in the user manual. _x000D_ _x000D_ In addition, the clock is running fast. About 1 minute every two days. So after 6 days, it is 3 minutes fast.. I reset it but it is still running fast. None of our other clocks in the house are running fast so this seems to be an issue with the built in clock and not with the circuits._x000D_ _x000D_ I'm on hold with Electrolux now (it's been almost an hour) so we'll see if they are able to get things resolved. I'm not too hopeful based on the hold time... _x000D_ _x000D_ Disappointing first impressions for such an expensive unit!
