Features

Wipe away cleaning time with the induction cooktop

Unlike traditional electric and gas cooktops, Induction only heats the pan and the food in it, so the area around the pan stays cooler to the touch, allowing you to clean up spills and splatters while you cook.

Get amazingly fast results with Induction

With induction, heat transfers directly to the cookware and not the cooktop surface, making induction incredibly fast.

Maximize cooktop space with the Convenient Bridge Element

Connect two elements to create a larger cooking surface, perfect for griddles or large pans.

Even Heat delivers consistent results

Induction delivers steady, even heat across the surface of your pan so you get consistent results every time.

Incredibly responsive and precise

More responsive than gas and more precise than electric, induction goes from a low simmer to a powerful boil, almost immediately.

Safer cooktop surface

Induction heats your pan and the food in it, so the area around the pan stays cooler to the touch.

Peace of Mind with the Frigidaire Fit Promise

We promise that your new 36" Frigidaire induction cooktop will fit your existing countertop cutout of the same width and configuration, or we will reimburse you for cabinet modification costs up to $100.

Get the right amount of heat with Auto Sizing Pan Detection

Get the right amount of heat for your pan with Auto Sizing that automatically senses the size of your pan and heats accordingly.

More Efficient Way to Cook

Induction uses less energy throughout the cooking process, only heating your cookware and not your kitchen.

Induction is compatible with most cookware

Most stainless steel and cast iron cookware is compatible with induction elements. An easy rule of thumb: if a magnet sticks to the bottom of the cookware, it's induction-friendly.

5 Great Bang For The Buck!

We recently purchased a house with “top of the line” appliances that turned out to be twenty year old discontinued appliances. A 36” gas cooktop needed replacement and we wanted Induction. The majority of the competition required a 50 Amp service which was cost prohibitive. The 36” Frigidaire only requires a 40 Amp service and we were able to redeploy a redundant Stove plug cost effectively. The top looks good, works as expected and is well priced.

4 Like it but not perfect

Really like this cooktop. It is a bit tricky to use. When surface is wet, the controls are not responsive. When steam or water spills on it, controls are sometimes turned off. Sometimes we have to try multiple times to get the controls to work._x000D_ _x000D_ Note: This may not be a problem with touch controls in general.

5 Frigidaire - 36" Induction Cooktop

We are so pleased with our new induction cooktop. It's easy to use and clean. The controls are very precise. A pot of cold tap water, enough to boil eggs, comes to a rolling boil in a minute and 25 seconds! It's a good looking unit, as well. We like that it has no knobs.

3 Catastrophic failure at 14 months old

Loved it while it worked. The only reason for 3 stars. Suddenly small noise to the unit while trying to turn on an element and no response. Breaker was set off but even with that in place the unit would not work. Had the electrician check and there was power to the unit. So staying away from replacing it with another induction cooktop. Feeling a bit burnt on this one.
