1 Worst dishwasher ever

Bought 8/24/20 from Home Depot and been trying to get clean dishes ever since. I have had dishwashers for over 60 years including portables and many different brands. I have never before had one as lousy at cleaning as this one is. There has not been one single load with everything clean. I'm sure glad I don't like heated drying because at least the gunk is still moderately soft when I have to wash it off by hand. Doesn't matter which of 3 racks it is on. Today it was a hunk of custard from a bread pudding dish. Totally unobstructed. Have tried different kinds of detergent and it doesn't matter.

5 Looks very nice and is so quiet!

We purchased this to replace a broken 10 year old Whirlpool. It looks far nicer, cleans dishes much better and you barely hear it running!

4 Tons of room!!

We bought this dishwasher and got it installed before the Thanksgiving holiday. It handles whatever you want to throw at it. I love the silverware tray at the top, and the extra deep bottom rack to hold serving platters and large pans, as well as the tote on the bottom rack for all the cooking utensils. We are very happy with this product.

5 Love this dishwasher

This dishwasher is so quiet and cleans my dishes very well. We installed it ourselves. Had a hard time learning how to work it but figured it out finally.

2 Why I Wish I Had Not Purchased This Model

Although it was working great, my "old" Frigidaire dishwasher had exceeded its life expectancy when it needed a few replacement parts. After searching (unsuccessfully) for the parts, I decided it may be wiser to buy a new Frigidaire than to fix an aged one. Now I am sorry I "traded-up." _x000D_ _x000D_ THE GOOD:_x000D_ _x000D_ CLEANING/DRYING -- The machine does a good job of cleaning dishes in both the top & bottom racks. Drying is so-so (of course, plastic items never get dried.) And yes, operation is incredibly quiet. _x000D_ _x000D_ THE BAD:_x000D_ _x000D_ RACKS -- I knew before purchase that I would miss the the fold-down bottom rack of my old machine but was assured the new machine would hold 12 place settings. Uh, nope. Not disclosed in the description or images is that the tines are ANGLED. This angle forces me to leave a space between each of my large dinner plates - thereby cutting the number of plates by half or more. I am only able to load 6 to 7 place settings!!! _x000D_ _x000D_ THIRD RACK -- I was excited by the addition of the third rack but discovered that without its own spray arm, the bonus rack is useless. Items loaded in that rack DO NOT get clean and have a soapy film left on them, so I must presume they are NOT getting rinsed either._x000D_ _x000D_ INDICATORS -- On my "old" machine, the top panel indicated when the cycle was complete and alerted me when the rinse aid needed replenishing. This "new" machine does neither well. (1) The CLEAN light appears at the end of the cycle only AFTER the door is opened. (2) The User Manual states the rinse aid indicator "will be dark when full and will show clear when it is time to refill." I am unable to see any difference. And since the directions state the dispenser holds enough for 11 to 66 washes (that’s a huge range,) I am attempting to refill it all the time, because I can't tell when it is low._x000D_ _x000D_ I have been using this machine for six months and have tried to like it, or at the very least, get used to it, but I cannot. Two other people that visited my home have used this machine and both told me this was the worst setup for a dishwasher that they had experienced. Both said they would never buy one like this. And I wish I never did. WHAT HAPPENED, Frigidaire?

3 Love how quit it is

I love everything about this dishwasher - the only downfall is that somethings are dry at the end and some things are wet. If not for that I would give it 5 stars.

1 Not so exciting to mediocre at best

I bought a Frigidaire wall oven and microwave combo and I love it. Looks and performance are great. I bought a Frigidaire gas cook top and I love it. Looks and performance are also great. I then bought the matching Frigidaire dishwasher. This is a deep tub dishwasher with a 3rd rack. I had to remove the 3rd rack and move up the second rack to fit my dishes and pots. I can only put big dinner plates on the bottom rack. I was able to put big plates on the top rack on my old dishwasher. The rack spacing is very awkward and limits how much you can pile in. The silverware basket is a bit flimsy. I had to switch the location of the handle so it would not keep hitting the opening when I slide the lower basket it. It has a stainless tub and they put a rubber shell for the noise. It still smells after a month of use. I paid almost $1,000 on this dishwasher. My 10 year old Maytag dishwasher may have been old and ugly but it runs circles around this Frigidaire dishwasher. I have a hard time recommending this particular dishwasher.
