Based on recent experiences modern washers tend not to actually clean, or actually rinse, or to destroy clothes. This one returns to the happy times when a washer actually got your stuff clean and residue-free without hurting it. And it's pretty quiet.

After 25 years with my previous Electrolux I have upgraded to a new Electrolux front load washer. I am sure I will enjoy this washer for another 25 years!

We purchased this new set to replace our elderly Electrolux washer and dryer. I love this new set and am excited to have the steam settings. They clean even better than our old Electrolux pair. There are only two minor things I wish were different with the new models: 1. I wish the end of cycle chime were louder. I can't hear the chime in other areas of the house like I could with our older models. 2. I wish that we had more color options than charcoal and white. Our older models were a gorgeous blue color and looked especially lovely in our gray and blue laundry room. The white ones look okay and I understand the supply chain issues, but the pretty colors sure made doing laundry more fun. When our older Electrolux models needed to be replaced we didn't even consider another brand and have no regrets.
