The Electrolux gas cook top that we purchased is way above the others we looked at! The lighted knobs, ignition set up and all are better than the competition, in my opinion. Excellent product!

Nice cooktop, lights fast, good flame adjustability. The knobs are thick metal with a small plastic portion for the LED light to illuminate through. The LED light is more whitish than the blue color of some of the pictures. The burners are made by Saba, in Italy, and feature a cast aluminum body, with solid brass caps on all the burners. Four brass caps are painted/enameled black, while the center burner is matte brass. The cooktop unit is made in Thailand, and is of high quality materials and construction. The grates are heavy cast-iron, and well made. I suggest you plug it into a small surge suppressor to protect the small bit of electronics in the unit (ignitor, LED knob-lights). This cooktop seems very similar to the Dacor 5-burner and the 5-burner Samsung units....perhaps made by the same factory in Thailand. A cast iron flat griddle was included, a nice extra. I converted mine for propane use, easy except for some carefull fiddling to change the horizontal gas orifice of the center burner....a small space for fat fingers...you don't want to drop the orifice into the hole below._x000D_ My only criticism is that some of the gas valves could turn a little smoother, perhaps they will with a little use.

The products Electrolux develops for today’s consumer are as my daughter would say “right on point”. They are very stylish and functional and look great in today’s kitchen. We have used Electrolux for the past 15 years and enjoy all the products.

I researched cooktops and chose this one and I’m so glad it has lived up to my expectations. The middle high intensity burner allowed me to cook my stirfry in a fraction of the time that I used to, with my other gas, stoves that I’ve had in the past. I also love the ergonomic tilt on the knobs, as well as the back lighting on them and the finish is also is easy to clean. Finally, I wanted a stove that I could light in the event of a power failure and I’m happy to say that I can confirm this can be done with this cooktop.

We love the light up solid metal knobs and brass power burner. So easy to tell when the stove is on. Just wish all the burners had brass coloring!

It was all I had expected and I love it. I have used it for about 8 months now so I feel that I can review this product with confidence. It was easy to install, cleans easily, has powerful burners that cook very evenly, and I appreciate the backlighting and the angle on the burner knobs. I would buy this again.

This cooktop is packed with features and the power of a 36 inch professional cooktop. Finding a large area 5 burner unit in a 30 inch is near impossible. Electrolux nailed it. I would highly recommend this unit or any Electrolux cooktop to anyone who loves to cook, it rivals the commercial ones I worked with as a Sous Chef in college. Just a beautiful piece of equipment!

I needed a 30 inch gas cooktop that would fit in a cut out of around 273/4 inches width. I searched until I found this one.
