Highly recommend that serious cooks look elsewhere for a cooktop. This product has two huge limitations. First the largest burner is 8". Because this is induction, that's very literal. Anything over 8" will have a very cool spot around the outer rim beyond the 8" diameter of the induction burner. Yes, you can stand there and keep working the food back into the heated portion, but that's not really something you ideally want to do, is it? Second, if you cook something with a lid and then remove that lid at any time during the active cooking process, you must be ultra careful not to get any of the condensed water vapor from the inside of the lid anywhere on the cooking surface. Why? Because that will cause the entire cooktop to shutdown. Imagine you're cooking 4 things at once (using tiny pans that are only 6-8" !!) and you spill a little liquid from one of them. This unit then forces you to stop all four foods mid-cook, move them around so you can wipe up the water (very very thoroughly) and then wait another 30-60 seconds before the cooktop will come back on. Not exactly optimal for precision cooking! Oh, and the cooktop buttons can be non-responsive when things get a little messy mid-cook, not so fun when you try to make a quick change to lower the heat and the buttons need to be wiped clean first! For over $2000, we very much wish we had bought something else.

I love Electrolux products. My previous cooktop worked for 10 years and it was still working. I replaced it just for remodeling of my kitchen appliances.the new one is fancier, radiant heat and very quickly get hot! Very easy to work with. The edges are stainless steel which less chance for breaking the glass.

We don't have gas at our house so I've been thinking of induction for quite a while. Glad I took the step to get an induction cooktop. Haven't boiled water yet but fried up ground turkey and it started sizzling right away. Guess I would prefer round markings for the burners rather than the 3 lines but I love it!

I absolutely love this new cooktop! Not only is it super easy to clean as there are no knows to collect grease, but the temperature control while cooking is amazing!_x000D_ _x000D_ Also, I did a quick experiment before they removed my old electric cooktop... I filled my teakettle 3/4 full and placed it on the large burner. It took 6 minutes and 33 seconds for the tea kettle to whistle. On my new Electrolux Induction Cooktop it took 2 minutes and 8 seconds!!!

Not a paid review. I am blown away at the quality of the cooktop. The materials and craftsmanship are above standard. All literature provided is enough for: install, electrical troubleshooting and how to use it!. The customer service has been beyond amazing. They have communicated from the beginning to the end! 11/10. Would and will highly recommend to anyone in the market for any appliance to choose Electrolux.

I had induction for 10 years. I moved and only had gas. I missed my induction so much that I had an electric line installed and had my countertop cut to accommodate the induction cooktop. So, worth it!
