So far, so good with the new refrigerator. Size was the primary consideration and this one fits perfectly.

We bought this as an extra refrigerator/freezer after our chest freezer died. We love it! Freezer is huge and plenty of room in the refrigerator section for beer and wine as well as extra fruits and veg.

The top of the refrigerator door and the bottom of the freezer door get very hot almost to the point of getting burned. Doors are hard to open. Seems to run nonstop even with it not being overfilled. Makes more noise than most while running.

We have had the fridge for 3 weeks now; very cold, doors shut nice, mostly quiet, but will hear some gurgling on defrost, but was aware of this when we bought it. The contents in the fridge did smell of plastic for the first couple of weeks. Overall a real good fridge.

Within 3 weeks the frig stopped cooling. I tried a 3rd party tech first and got no where. Frigidaire parts are on backorder so I have had no frig for almost 2 months. The factory trained techs are so busy I had to wait 4 days just to get one and she showed up 4-8 hrs late. She came on 6/19 and her eariliest appointment to come back was 7/1. The 3rd party techs aren't any better. They have no parts, don't communicate, don't show up at all or show up at 6pm when they were supposed to be there 8-12.am. I am very disappointed. Now my box sits in the kitchen with the doors open so it wont smell when the parts come. I dont reccomend buying Frigidaire. I recently received a warranty card to extend my warranty to 5 years for $100. I don't want to go through this with no parts in sight, no tech for days or weeks, and no frig. so I won't be extending my aggravation. Very Very disappointed with Frigidaire's Management. Those in charge of where the parts are manufactured (poor quality), those in charge of hiring, (you need more service techs, especially since you are using poor quality parts), You need more customer service agents. I have to wait at least 10 mins every time I call about this frig's problems. You need more quality parts readily available to fix your friges quickly. Why spend the money to send a tech with no parts. Then you have to send the tech again. The customers are left frustrated and your techs are unavailable for weeks because they have to return to the same houses . Poor business sense. I guess you don't want word of mouth advertising. I'm very disappointed with the way your company is run from the top. Your customer service agents are WONDERFUL. Putting up with frustrated people all day isn't easy especially since there is no quick solution to their problems because of the way management runs the company. I learned my lesson the hard way, but I will make sure my relatives, friends, and business associates know what I went through so they can avoid my mistake and they can stay away from Frigidaire.

I bought this a month ago and couldn’t be more satisfied! Also the ice maker is awesome!! No more half moon ice cubes! Definitely would recommend this to anyone!
