I like the space that this fridge has. The shelves on the door have more space for items like pop and juice at the bottom. I like the one long tray for things like cheese, bacon and sandwich meats. The racks are adjustable. It seems to be working well.

after delivery discovered that:_x000D_ 1. Only one shelf in the freezer compartment_x000D_ 2. No lamp there either_x000D_ 3. Lamp in fridge below has no cover_x000D_ 4. No manual provided with delivery. Not everyone has access to the internet._x000D_ 5. On line manual says to raise front of the fridge 1/4" but doesn't tell you how._x000D_ 6. Freezer door pops open 1/2'' when you close the fridge door, letting in air and _x000D_ leading to frost formation. I had to installed strip magnets to solve this problem.

I’ve had this fridge for about 3 weeks and so far am happy with it. It keeps my food cold as it should. The overall storage space inside is great. I love the deli drawer, which doesn’t seem to be a standard feature in fridges any more. The produce drawers are quite a bit smaller than the ones my old fridge had (it was 22 years old) but I like the wheels that help them move smoothly. _x000D_ _x000D_ The fridge was delivered with one of the wheels broken and customer service gladly offered to replace the whole drawer (it hasn’t arrived yet as it was backordered). I think it wasteful that the whole drawer has to be replaced for a single wheel- why can’t the wheel alone be replaced? ( if it arrived broken, what are the odds that another will break after the year warranty is up?)_x000D_ _x000D_ One other complaint is that this fridge was advertised on the Costco website (where I purchased it) as auto closing doors, which was a selling feature for me. They’re not. And when you close the fridge door, often the freezer door pops open_x000D_ just a bit and stays open. More than once I’ve come into the kitchen to find the freezer door open a crack and the freezer frosty because of it. Definitely not ideal.

I went to a store with a large show room because I wanted to see what features and styles of fridges are available in 2024. I knew that I wanted to avoid those things that made my old fridge less than perfect. I settled on a Frigidaire energy star model with large door shelves, adjustable height glass main shelves, large full length drawer and 2 vegetable boxes at the bottom. It was the top freezer style with generous 2 shelf freezer and door shelf. I wanted it in white. There was another Frigidaire model next to the one I wanted but it was not energy star and the door shelves were 2 part assembly and felt flimsy. I told the sales person that I definitely didn't want that model because of the lack of energy star certification and the fact the I thought the door shelves were a weak point of the fridge and I didn't want to chance broken door shelves that would make the great door shelf feature useless. After a month waiting for delivery I received the fridge. When I was taking off the shipping tape and adjusting shelves I noticed that the door shelves were the flimsy ones that I didn't want. Then I saw the energy guide and it was not the energy star version. I thought there may have been a slip up, being shipped the wrong fridge by mistake. However when I went to the Frigidaire website I was disappointed to see that the energy star model with the better door shelves only came in stainless steel finish. Now each month when hydro sends their message to buy energy star products to save the environment I will be guilty of my new fridge being non-energy star. Only time will tell if the doors last. _x000D_ The fridge seems good, but could have been great, if Frigidaire offered the fridge I wanted in white. _x000D_ From a usability standpoint the fridge is great. The huge door shelves are good for milk cartons that used to take up the main shelves on my old fridge. Now there is so much more room. The full size drawer is great for containing small items, cheese, lunch meat, etc. The cooling power seems outstanding. _x000D_ One improvement I suggest: The front wheels should be height adjustable. The only height adjustment is screw jacks. Makes pulling the fridge out for cleaning a possible damage to the floor if someone didn't notice the jack screws were against the floor and they moved the fridge.
