I tried several stores to get a new freezer as my old upright Frigidaire Freezer_x000D_ had after many years decided it was time for retirement, it gave me no problems the whole 12 years it had a place in my home.._x000D_ So we decided to buy an upright 20 cu ft Frigidaire Freezer again because I know that it won't fail us.plus in the event that it may have some glitch in it's service with us I bought the warranty only for piece of mind._x000D_ Did I forget to mention we bought our Frigidaire Freezer at Home Depot._x000D_ _x000D_ Thank you.

I LOVED my old upright Kenmore and did not want a replacement but this freezer is excellent. From the top of the basement stairs I can see the green light shining on the floor showing it is on and working. It is taller and less deep than my other freezer but I remain short. Happily the highest shelf is still reachable and is good for tall items. The door has a lot of storage space. The temp control is on the back wall about halfway which I thought would mean it is constantly bumped but it seems to be tucked in far enough to avoid that. My salesman said things will remain frozen/cold for 3 days if the power goes off. My one criticism is the basket at the bottom. It basically falls out on your foot when you pull it out. I suppose that is to remove it for cleaning. Avoid pulling it out at all, there is lots of clearance above it.

Always wanted one, now I have one. It is big enough to see what’s in it, yet not so big that it overwhelms. We love it!

Lots of baskets on the door. And a good amount of shelves. The basket on the bottom is too shallow because the front of it is only a few inches tall. we would have preferred it to be as high as the back of the basket. T 20 cu.ft.It has plenty of room for all our needs. The door seals extremely well, too well in fact as every time we tried to open the door it would roll and we couldnt open it easily. A lock on the wheels would help to prevent that. It freezes up quickly. we,ve only had it for 1 day so we will see how well it functions

Our new upright freezer is so much more convenient than the old chest freezer. My family would not let me defrost the old one if they were not at home to rescue me if necessary (I am not very tall). The new one is frost free! Hope it lasts 35 years too.
