My old frigidaire freezer stopped working after 30 years. Bought a new frigidaire and am just as happy as I was with my 1st. You open door from the top or the side(shorter people). The door has wide shelving for storage..The only thing is I would recommend an extra shelf in the main unit...This way you would not have to stack frozen food so high.

First upright freezer we have owned and are very happy with it. It allows us to see everything that we have in the freezer - no more “lost” items. It replaces a very old chest freezer that was well past it’s useful life

I bought this freezer a little over a one month ago to replace my old one that decided its end was coming. I am entirely satisfied of it and it is amazing to see what you can put it. It is not as deep as my old one but taller which is fine with me as I park my car in front of it. It is also very quiet.

Replacement freezers for ones bought in January, March, 2024 that both failed. We did nothing untoward to cause their demise. We will wait to see if these new ones succeed for 12 months before feeling confident about the product.One replacement arrived with cosmetic damage to the sidewall. We kept it with Home Depot gift cards as an incentive to not go through replacement again.

Have had the freezer for only a month and so far, so good! Love being able to see everything easily and with easy access. Previously, I had a 10 cu ft chest freezer, and bought a 20 cu ft upright- glad I did because you do lose packing space with the upright! I thought I would have quite a bit of extra space, but that is not the case. My 20 cu ft upright is ‘full but comfortable’, but best of all, the items are easily accessible.

Love the new Frigidaire Freezer. First upright freezer we’ve owned and it’s so much nicer than the 4 different chest freezers that we’ve had over the years. The interior is easy to store various different types of products that you need to keep frozen.
