I looked at cheaper brands but kept coming back to Fridgedaire. My 20 Cu ft unit surpasses our expectations. It’s quiet, easily accessed and a better choice over chest units for my vertically challenged wife.

I bought this about a month ago to replace a off shore brand that had a few service calls, and the service company and supplier could not resolve the leaking seal in the door issue that seems to be a common issue. I got a refund and bought this unit. I even added another shelf.

The freezer constantly frosted built up every 20 days, attempted to contact support and warranty during the 1 yr warranty which constantly resulted in bounce backs and errors. _x000D_ Now that I've been ignored and the warranty is expired, clever method to never honor warranty._x000D_ _x000D_ Hired the contracted repair person for Frigidaire to replace the seal on my own dollar and they actually made it worse, now it frosted up (2 inches thick) every 3 days._x000D_ Ended up buying a different freezer that actually seals. _x000D_ Frigidaire was a very expensive mistake.

So far so good, works good, only had it for a week now. we will see if it lasts. roomy on the inside. _x000D_ When opening the door, the freezer tends to slide forward even though the rubber feet are resting firmly on the ground

Bought this upright freezer a few weeks ago, and so happy we did. This is our first upright and it is far superior to a chest freezer. So much easier to keep things organized and easy to access. Runs very quietly.
