As an expat Scandinavian, I have been partial to Electrolux products when I have been able to afford them. This cooktop definitely changed my view of Electrolux design and features. _x000D_ Cooktop arrived fine and undamaged. The trouble began with the unpacking and installation:_x000D_ 1: Tape applied to hold knobs and burners fused into the stainless steel. It took hours to clean off and "shadows" from the tape is still visible (photos)_x000D_ 2: Scratches in the stainless steel were found underneath the tape (photo)_x000D_ 3: The claim of easy cleaning is a joke. E.g.: _x000D_ a: Light butter spray from a frying pan will stain the burner rings and the stains cannot _x000D_ be removed (photo) _x000D_ b: A pot with milk boiled over, and spots on the black burner tops cannot be removed. _x000D_ Likewise, burned in milk on the grates cannot be removed (photo)_x000D_ c: Black coating on the grates does not appear to be holding up to cast iron cookware _x000D_ These design flaws should not occur on $1,900+ cooktops. Unfortunately, I discarded the shipping box, etc., before using the cooktop or it would have been returned. _x000D_ Shame on Electrolux for putting this product on the market

This was recommended to replace a cooktop that was on back order for a new home build. Wish I would have waited for the back ordered cooktop. Came with spots on the stainless steel, was sent a new SS piece but still waiting for the other knob parts so I can replace it. This isn't a big deal as long as I eventually receive the replacement parts. The finish itself is hard to keep clean even though it is SS, I am not sure why but I have never had such a difficult time with an SS cooktop before. The burners are a cheap finish and are ruined after the first spill. The piece surrounding the control knobs is poorly designed and captures spills and difficult to clean. Finally, for some reason this burns loud. I have had multiple people comment on how loud the burners are when on. Positives are the control knobs are heavy and good quality and the burners work well.

I’ve seen several cooktops & this Electrolux gas cooktop is superior, it is very versatile & spacious. Very easy to clean. I can put large pots on it with room to spare._x000D_ I would purchase the gas cooktop again!

Building a new house! We ordered a Cafe cooktop over a year ago but due to Covid excuses at installation time it wasn’t available so we had to “settle” for the Electrolux. What we got was in my opinion an upgrade. We couldn’t be happier. Its a great product and perfectly fits our decore.
