I bought this last month my other GE only lasted a year in a half. Just ridiculous. Hopefully my Frigidaire stands up better than my other one.

My chest freezer died, after 25 years, and it was full. I needed a new one right now. Saw that Home Depot had them on sale. Was happy it was a Frigidaire, as I know this is a good quality chest freezer. Plugged it in, and it started getting cold immediately. It is very spacious and comes with 2 baskets. Hoping for a long relationship with my new freezer.

Purchased the 19.8 (then model) in August 2022. Plugged it in and it did a great job heating so that one was replaced within a week. Fast forward to Feb 2025. Done. Won’t hold temp and deemed toast without warranty. Do not recommend.

The freezer is significantly more sturdy than our other unit. It keeps the food nice and cold . There appears to be no ice build up on the inside which is nice and the lid closes very tight. It is spacious. The racks are spacious and easily positioned.

This freezer is a great freezer. Even though it’s a large freezer, quite light and has casters, so can move easily. Freezer was plugged in for only a couple of hours and was cold enough to put our food in.
