5 Sophisticated design and thoughtful features

I am incredibly impressed with the design of this range, both the thoughtful feature set and the sleek, professional visuals. Features-wise, the induction cooktop offers the best example of what the technology can offer. I specifically appreciate the bridge mode, which enables the user to sync up two burners to equally distribute heat across a larger cooking surface, such as a baking pan. This is perfect for keeping my roasted broccoli warm while other items still need to cook in the oven (and thus the excellent warming feature in the oven can’t be used). I will note that the sound of induction was something to get used to at first, but it’s a minor thing. Overall, the induction cooktop makes me feel like I’m running a science experiment or a professional cooking video, which makes me look forward to the next time I get to cook._x000D_ _x000D_ The oven is also excellent. It offers a thoughtful range of options (bake, broil, etc.) with nice, luxurious touches. One of these touches is the soft close door, which removes the cringe-worthy moment when an oven door slams shut, making noise and potentially damaging the hinge. That isn’t the case here. Among the diverse array of cooking options, the standout oven feature for me is the temperature probe cooking setting, where the oven heats the meat to the specified cooking temperature, then shuts off cooking. It is so helpful and avoids the pain point with other ovens where I’ve had to take the food in and out of the oven to test the temp, and it overall adds to a compelling feature set._x000D_ _x000D_ Lastly, the physical design of the oven is beautiful and sleek. Even though the range is 36 inches, it does not feel overwhelming like other ovens in this size category sometimes do. Instead, it feels designed to efficiently maximize the space for cooking, and provides a refined statement piece that isn’t overwhelming._x000D_ _x000D_ Ultimately, I this oven is a very compelling option, with its robust feature set and beautiful design. An excellent choice for those who like to cook on the cutting edge. Five stars.

5 Stunning and Innovative Machine!

We were recently blessed with a new Electrolux Induction Range, a gift that exceeded all expectations. The range is beautiful and will be a brilliant focal point in our kitchen once we complete our renovations. Its industrial, sleek design is stunning and will bring a touch of modern to our traditional ranch. _x000D_ The users manual is written simply and includes diagrams which is very helpful easing any anxiety when using something new. Tips and hints are highlighted. Great thinking Electrolux! _x000D_ The safety features built into the oven offer peace of mind as my young teens are navigating learning how to cook. The burners power off once the pot is removed reducing the risk of fires or burns. The no tilt brackets are brilliant for parents with younger children who are not aware of the danger that come with a hot oven. I appreciate how the oven’s light turns on when the door opens making it easier to check the status of the meal which will prevent risks of over cooking. The range uses less energy to heat the oven, less energy means our kitchen will not get too hot while cooking dinner and a slight reduction in our carbon footprint. I look forward to using the built in air frier this football season, healthy chicken wings is a win! My favourite feature is the steam clean setting as a working mom I do not have the time to use the standard 4 hour self cleaning setting most traditional ranges have. There is so much to left to learn about our new range. I am excited and grateful. _x000D_ _x000D_ Electrolux keep paving forward with energy innovation and generosity!

5 Dream Range

It could be that we went from a pretty old oven to this majestic beast, but this has surpassed all of our hopes and dreams. Its SO SPACIOUS I cooked my whole bowl of cookie dough in one batch, and they all cooked even which basically never happens at my elevation. _x000D_ _x000D_ The stove top ranges are so large, all of my pans fit and are able to cook evenly, but the best part is the induction features. My pregnancy brain left a burner on... for a really long time, and didnt burn the house down because it doesnt get hot unless your correct pan is placed on it! So I put stuff down on it all night not even realizing I had left it on, with no damage to my dishes or my marriage! Highly highly recommend to anyone and everyone.

5 Sleek & Stunning

I LOVE my new range. It is so sleek and modern looking. There is so much surface room for cooking. The oven feels like it should be in a chef’s kitchen. This range is definitely a quality appliance. The convection oven is probably my favorite part! It will be perfect for the next Thanksgiving turkey. The meat probe is also a really cool feature. I had a small get together the day I got it and literally everyone told me how much they liked the range.

1 Brand new and not working

We were very excited to purchase this induction range after using a gas range for years. We did our homework and settled on Electrolux. We bought it from a local retailer with whom we had purchased another appliance and had our general contractor and electrician do the installation. That was last Wednesday - almost a week ago. The electrician confirmed that the amps, etc. were correct but the range didn't work. Once it's powered, there's a continuous beeping and the oven doesn't turn on at all. At our insistence the retailer sent out their installation team, and after consulting with Electrolux, they concluded that the main board was bad. We are now almost one week without a functional stove and nothing has been resolved. The retailer said they would reach out to Electrolux to get a new range delivered but Electrolux has not responded. Based on the information the retailer gave us we did not pursue getting the range serviced by Electrolux (who wants to keep a lemon!). This is very frustrating and disappointing after spending this much money. We went with the brand we trusted but Electrolux has not lived up to its reputation.

4 Looks Professional

I wasn't able to see the range in person and there weren't tons of reviews, but I decided to go ahead with the Electrolux range. There were a few features that pushed it ahead of the others - the proofing feature, steam clean, and the temperature probe. I've yet to try these, but I think they will be useful. I really like the size of the oven. I can easily use my extra large cookie pans and have room for more. I'm still learning the intricates of the induction range, but I love how fast it can boil water. I'm not positive that the oven is cooking at the right temperature. I bought a thermometer to leave in there to check, but things are taking a lot longer than expected. I also notice that there is still a certain odor even after running it for the burn off time and cooking several things.

3 36" Induction range -- There's a learning curve.

I bought the Electrolux range to replace a creaky, leaky Dynasty gas range. A few things I love:_x000D_ _x000D_ * The oven, for the most part -- it heats quickly and evenly. I love the high heat settings for pizza and the like._x000D_ * The power heat on the cooktop-- Yes, I really can heat a kettle for tea faster than the microwave._x000D_ * I'm getting to like the cooktop, but it's definitely taking awhile to figure out how to get the control that I want._x000D_ * There sure are a lot of options! And I love proofing mode! _x000D_ _x000D_ Things I don't like:_x000D_ * Much to my surprise, the oven interior is slightly smaller than my old stove (I cannot fit two half-sheet pans side by side)._x000D_ * Unless I haven't figured it out yet -- I hate that I need to turn the oven completely off and start over to change the temperature (to cook a pie, for example). _x000D_ * Because it's a little tricky to change the temperature and then start the oven, I will sometimes come back to find that the oven is off (rather than, say, on broil). I'm not amused._x000D_ * I wish there were a way to set the cooktop so that it didn't automatically turn off. I don't need very long cooking often (but we're at the end of maple syrup season in New England). _x000D_ * There sure are a lot of options! And I wish it was a little bit simpler to figure them all out. That will come with time._x000D_ _x000D_ In the grand scheme of things, I think I like it, but don't love it. On the other hand, I'm no longer leaking methane into the air and as we become friends, I'm sure that it will become easier for me to use.

4 Lots to love about our new Induction Range!!

First I will give a quick summary of how it cooks. We find the cooking control of the burners to be excellent, much more fine control than gas. We did have to replace 3 saute pans (ceramic coating) with the new version by the same company which ARE induction capable, otherwise most of our professional grade cookware was compatible. As promised with induction, the heat up time is 3x faster than with gas. The oven seems to be VERY accurate, and the heat distribution it is very even when roasting and baking. We love the bottom glide rack, and may buy a second to replace the standard slide out. Have not yet used the oven for broiling or proofing, so no comment on that. Convection baking and Convection Roasting meet my expectations as a former restaurant chef in terms of heat and speed. All in all, the cooking experience for both teh stove top and oven has been excellent._x000D_ _x000D_ The oven controls are not super intuitive but once you learn the uses for each of the two knobs it is fine. (Left knob sets oven mode, then Right knob sets temp, then WAIT until you see Start on the display, and then PUSH the Left knob. Don't ask me how I set the clock, I don't remember, but it was a lot of trial and error - and yes, I could have looked it up, but the manual is not written so well and I am not convinced it would have helped me)._x000D_ _x000D_ We have yet to get BRIDGE mode to work, so I will be calling tech Support about that. I assume it is user-error, but the aforementioned manual is not giving me any answers to what I am doing wrong. There are two additional stove top modes that make little sense to me, A (acceleration) and P (power boost). They both seem to make the range top work faster. They are both very noisy, which is a deal breaker for me._x000D_ _x000D_ The noise was a surprise. Induction tops make a electronic whine, and the noise is louder at higher power setting. It seems to settle down after 60-90 seconds into a barely noticeable noise, but when you first turn up the heat it is quiet apparent. After 3 weeks now, I rarely pay attention, unless we start the top on highest and the room is otherwise quiet. I wish it wasn't there, but I can definitely live with it._x000D_ _x000D_ One benefit that should not be overlooked is clean up. It is so easy and so fast. Even when the glass is hot (from contact with the pan while cooking) it cools within a minute or so, so I am wiping up spills and grease almost as soon as it happens. LOVE that_x000D_ _x000D_ We did not intend to switch to induction. We were replacing a Viking Gas range which we loved, but which simply made our un-airconditioned kitchen too hot. Our appliance store was doing a demo of induction when we were there and we we sold after watching water boil in 27 seconds. We wanted a 36' wide range, and Electrolux is one of the few options at this size. The price was fair (not the lowest, not the highest) but the brand and service reputation was definitely the best of teh bunch. It was also in stock, which is a plus in this post-covid world of supply nightmares._x000D_ _x000D_ In general, we are really pleased. If this site allowed me to use 1/2 stars, I would give it 4.5 stars instead of 4. If you think you want a 36" Induction Range, we reccommend this one!!

5 Very pleased with this range.

We have owned this range for one month now and my wife and I could not be more pleased with it. The cooktop's performance is excellent, the controls are intuitive and easy to learn, and the oven temperature holds within 3 degrees of it's setting. If it is possible for a kitchen appliance to be beautiful, this one is. Highly recommended
