I've only had my freezer for 2 days now, so I can't speak to longevity, but I'm confident that it will provide service for many, many years. I bought this one to replace a smaller unit that has been (and still is) working flawlessly for almost 40 years. The key reason I went with Frigidaire was because of the awesome reliability of my old freezer. My new one is not only larger, but it considerably more energy efficient. I runs silently (making the "power on" light on the front important), and I love the LED interior light. After starting for the first time, it quickly came down to operating temperature. The door, door hinges, leveling feet, etc. all feel solid and well engineered. This is not a "bargain basement" appliance, this is a quality product that I look forward to having around for a long time.

Very happy with the freezer, seems very well built and very quiet. The casters are a nice plus as well. Would certainly recommend this freezer.

We got this freezer to replace an upright that was too small for our needs. This one is large, in fact we probably could have gone a size down, but now we have loads of freezer space and it’s nice and quiet. I’ve added some plastic bins to keep things organized and am very happy with the result.

We have had our new freezer for about a month now. This freezer has the look and feel of quality. It keeps my ice cream rock hard; doesn't get much better than that! It is quiet and I am pleased it has a light that shows me it is on.
