Do you "slave over a hot stove" or are "you a slave to your stove?" I was excited to make the switch from a 30 yr old coil top stove to a smooth top - it was a very BIG learning curve. Loved the looks of this stove, the front control panel with knobs, I did accidentally turn on the oven once when wiping down the screen, good thing it beeped to let me know. The stove top has a red warning light for hot surface, Frigidaire should also have a red "Oven On" light as a reminder in the event you forget to turn off the oven! Loved the oven, baked to my liking, even heat, no hot spots & the fan is very quiet. The oven drawer is an adequate size. Now for the stovetop - I really struggled to find the right heat settings, this stove is not reactive when turning down the heat & this is where you become a slave to your stove! Do not walk away, even for one minute or your food will be burning. The manual recommends starting on high heat & then lowering the heat. I tried lower settings to avoid having pans too hot, but then waited forever to get it up to the heat I desired. The simmer to boil element although it looks to hold several pot sizes is just one burner & even on the simmer setting, it is still boiling (heat range 182 - 212 degrees) Not thrilled with the configuration, as the burners I use most often were at the back of the stove - keep in mind, are you cooking for 2 people or a large family? Cleaning the stovetop - it is very difficult to keep clean, shows every mark, doesn't matter if you're boiling water or stir frying. I use all the necessary products but still find this process to be just like detailing your vehicle after every use. (May'be I'm too fussy) I ended up making use of the 90 day return policy offered by Costco, sent this stove back & replaced it with the Frigidaire Induction range.

I've had my new stove for about a month now and I love it! I'm a big fan of the knobs on the front, it feels more luxury, both the stove and oven cook evenly, and it's affordable. It's hands down my favourite stove I've ever owned!

J'ai acheté cet article et je l'adore. La seule chose que je n'aime pas est que les boutons pour allumer les ronds sont fragiles et tournent facilement. Donc si on s'appuie sur le four, les ronds peuvent ouvrir

Just got it a few days ago. Am not impressed with the up and down arrows. It speeds up so much that your going back and forth and back and forth and then to set it one number at a time it seems to lag. The stainless is likely the worst in any appliance I've had. You just cannot get it streak free and it marks up very easily. The elements and oven are great which is why i gave it a 4 rather than a 2.

Voilà 3 semaines que nous avons acheté notre cuisinière. Nous en sommes satisfaits: le four fonctionne très bien. J’ai fait cuire à quelques reprises mon pain et les résultats étaient parfaits. _x000D_ Seul petit bémol: une des quatre rondelles servant à mettre la cuisinière de niveau est bloquée. Je n’arrive pas à la débloquer.

Tip is so easy to clean. I put Dawn dish soap on the top if anything overflows, cleans easily. Never had a convection oven. I bake almost every day. Saves a lot of time

Excellent chice for our home. The bigger storage drawer than our previous unit has solved some storage problems in a small kitchen overall very pleased.
