While on a hunt for a new electric range I faced a lot challenges, with No.1 being the choice. There are multiple options to select from and it's overwhelming. So, I listed my preferred requirements for a range: hidden bake element, convection, basic cooking options, stem clean and solid good reviews. This range meets all of the above. I initially had some reservations about front control (since all my previous ranges had back control panels), but I am liking this location now. Yet after a week in my kitchen, I keep looking for a range clock on the back wall :) My new range was put into a test immediately after delivery. It's first test was making over 50 crapes. It took some time to find the perfect temperature position as the radiant hit keeps turning off if you lift a frying pan (which is good for electricity saving, I guess). The second test was backing Easter breads and all five of them turned perfect (what a relief from the last year nightmare). The convection option definitely contributed in better heat circulation, and oven capacity is sufficient for a larger load even with 5.3cf. The temperature was accurate and backing took shorter time compared to my old Kenmore. Some customers already noted that the sound indicating the readiness of the oven is not too loud; however, it was not a major issue for me, as I still was in the kitchen and could hear it clear. I also think that this range is for more experienced cooks as it does not have any preset cooking options (rice cook, bread proof, etc.), so you are able to control the entire cooking process precisely. I have not tried steam clean yet. And did I say that it looks pretty in a kitchen? I selected white finish to bland with my existing cabinets and it looks great. Also, without the back control panel, it visually opens up space. So far (a week time period), I am loving my new range.

It is a typical range, nothing to be excited about it. The instructions are missing important features.

We got the new range about 3 weeks ago and it’s been great. The only complaint we have is how inconsistent the heat is from the stove elements.

I am happy generally with my new range, except for one thing. I find the glass top difficult to clean. Every thing requires me to polish it. I purchased the Weiman Daily Cleaner as well as their polish and I am using it all the time. I haven’t used all the features yet, but O am mostly pleased.
