This is our second Frigidaire dishwasher. The first one went with the last house when we sold it. We thought enough of it to buy a second one. Highly recommend.

I love my new dishwasher. Lots of space and extremely quiet. Dishes come out clean and I use half of the detergent my old unit used. Extremely happy??

Have used this for roughly a month now and it has been very disappointing. First, the overall construction of the dishwasher is very cheap. Very flimsy racks and have to be gentle with it. You also have to push/pull exactly from the middle of rack, else is will get stuck. Second. The drying function is non existent, after a normal cycle with max boost drying, the dishes come out just as wet, as if you just rinsed then. Third. The cleaning is questionable at best. We don't jam pack the dish washer. We even tested it with two items in each rack. Every time, is comes out as if the rinse cycle doesn't even exist. Leaving a residue behind. We barley used dishwasher detergent. The good points? its kind of quiet I guess. But our old GE washer before it broke, washed and dried much better (20+ year old unit) Should have paid the extra money and bought a Bosch. I have one at work and that thing is constantly running all day and it still keeps working.

very nice quality build. The front door is solid and aligned perfect. It dries dishes ok but expected the dish to be alot hotter when drying was done, when compare to my older dishwasher the dashers felt hotter when done. But over all so far seem be ok

Purchased through Costco a month ago. Performance has been underwhelming. Dishes come out dirty (and now baked on) every wash. Normal or heavy setting produces the same result. Cutlery needs at least two cycles, and even then a hand wash occasionally.

Bought less then a month ago, would be nice to have the outer trim package included with the dishwasher to cover the gaps on either side of the dishwasher between the cabinets.

I didn't notice in the reviews and specs I read before purchasing this unit (GDSP4715AF) that it does not use a heating element (i.e., the metal ring at the bottom), and didn't even think about researching that particular component (or the lack of) in this model. Came to find out that drying is poor in all washing cycles and not drying at all in the Quick cycle even though there are the same Dry settings for the Quick Cycle (Air Dry plus Heat Dry plus MaxBoost). I've always prefer the Quick wash setting on all my previous dishwashers but would not be able to use it with this model if Heat Dry is not available. I wanted to post in this review a pic of how the dishes look after choosing the Quick cycle with MaxBoost driying cycle (soaking wet) but this platform from Frigidaire didn't allow me. Mind you that I just replaced a 1-yr old Samsung dishwasher that was working great for this Frigidaire model because of the sleek design, upper rack, and 'new technology' but I am now regretting doing this and looking at returning/replacing the dishwasher again just after 5 days. Full disclosure, I am waiting for a Frigidaire tech to come and look at it to see if there is an issue with the unit I got (Frigidaire must fix or replace this unit), or confirm it is working as designed which will make me return it and get another model. I'll update this review once I get that answer. It does wash well. I do tend (from habit) to rinse dishes before placing them in the dishwasher so that always helps getting all dishes clean. This model has cleaned the dishes as good as most previous dishwashers I’ve owned during the 5 days I’ve tried it. Lastly, the duration of the cycles (specially when using Heat Dry or MaxBoost) is significantly longer than any other dishwasher I’ve owned. I encourage potential buyers to research and compare the cycles’ durations. If a 3 ½ cycle (e.g. Normal) is not an issue for you, then duration is something you need to consider with this model.

I bought this two weeks ago and it is a very quiet and effective dishwasher. Please note that they hot water intake is now on the front of the dishwasher so you may need to add some braided hot water line.

Love our new dishwasher! So much room for a weeks worth of dishes and it’s so quiet!
