4 It heats fast and evenly

“i received compensation for this review but the review is my own” i really like the cooktop. it heats evenly and fast. boiled a huge pot of water for lasagna in less than 10 minutes. normal 2 qt sauce pain will boil water in about 2-3 minutes. they dont’t easily tell you inside hole dimensions have 2 measurements. will it fit in counter and is it too small for existing counter hole? waiting for custok milled aluminum plate to feel more sexure because existinc counter top hole is too large. it covers evrything, but there may be a lot of weight restinfnon a small lip. takes getting used to touch controls. after using for a few weeks we are both getting better. the magnetic knob is neat, but faster with touch control.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

5 NZ36K7880UG Samsung Induction with virtual flame

My wife and I shopped a lot prior to choosing this unit and we are extremely happy that we have chosen this unit. We find it very user friendly and simple to operate. Food in pans and pots heat and cook extremely fast. We love the flame technology only offered by Samsung.Very easy to clean surface. Another success product by Samsung. This is not our only product under this name. Always satisfied.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

1 This cooktop is so frustrated

I bought this two years ago and I wanted to return it so badly the first time I use it. The cooktop is so sensitive, so you have to guarantee you never get the surface wet or the 60 error message will appear and it stop cooking. The error message normally went away after few seconds. But sometimes it stays forever, I have to cut off the power in order to get it restarted. It really test your temperament when you are busy preparing dinner. About 2 months ago, two right burners suddenly stopped working and magically started working again after 1 month. I am waiting for this cooktop to completely die and buy a none samsung cooktop.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

1 Meh

It really is a love hate relationship with this cook top. I love how easy it is to clean, the flex zone is a neat and useful feature. However the lights, while nice are just a gimmick as is the knob, the main element is set far back so it isn't comfortable if you're doing things like a stir-fry, and has a surprising amount of hot spots. I would not buy it again nor recommend it to another person. The timer is EXTREMELY quiet and super easy to miss even when in the same room. I have cats, and they turn the child lock off constantly, and it is in a too easy spot for little fingers to reach.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
