This is a major fire hazard and I'm glad I finally caught it. Unfortunately I'm not sure what the solution to this would be as its 100% a design flaw. As the dryer is spinning, clothing will catch the corner of the lint trap and pull it out. I just had to pull lots of small articles of clothing out from where the lint trap would slot into and I'm currently checking to see if clothing got pulled further in. I'm very disappointed that this has not been resolved.

My washer and dryer are only a week old. The issue I'm having is that the dyer is leaving lint balls all over my clothes while very little lint is going into the lint trap?

Within the first month, the dryer drum stopped turning and had numerous service calls. Although it 'works' now, it is so inefficient and takes more than twice as long to dry as my previous Samsung. Advice from service co, was to sell the unit and replace with something I like rather than try and get this unit replaced by Electrolux.

I purchased this set 2 years ago and have been quite happy with their performance. Except one little detail with the dryer. The lint trap is shaped in such a way that towel tags, large buttons etc. can catch on its front edge when tumbling. I've put up with it as it usually only results in a need to refresh the shirt or remove the now torn tag. But yesterday a whole other level of "what the" happened. Something caught (this was not a large load) and pulled the whole lint trap assembly up and out. As the dryer continued to tumble, some items got sucked into the blower assembly. Boom, bang, grind, sudden stop. Fortunately it was a relatively easy fix and no lasting damage was done. But it cost me a repair callout for something that is a total design flaw. I've hated the way the lint trap was set up since day one and am really unimpressed today. We'll now be shaving the edges back on the lint trap to account for a poor design.

I called 1 800 number to troubleshot dryer 2 days in order to get different person. They have people in India not speaking good English and know nothing about product. Then Electrolux called to schedule technician appointment for January???. When asked why not exchange it answer was technician has to confirm it is not working. BS service.

My machine started to make a lot of noise a few months after completing 1 year. I called Electrolux and after explaining the problem a morbid voice just answered saying there was no more warranty. And that was is, no solution give, no options, nothing... not what i was expecting.
