I purchased a gas dryer in November 2024, and it has been a nightmare ever since. From the start, it sounded like a spoon rattling inside a tin can. After ruling out any external sources for the noise, I reached out to Electrolux support. They scheduled a technician to come out, but his first repair attempt lasted over three hours and left the dryer in worse condition than before. The technician deemed it unrepairable and promised to report it as such. Communication from both the technician and Electrolux was severely lacking. I received no clear answers, only that they would not replace the dryer and the technician would return with parts. Weeks later, he did return and managed to get the dryer running "good enough" and "better than before," though he admitted he hoped it would continue to run. The rattling noise was replaced by a high-pitched whine. Despite the dryer being only two months old, Electrolux refuses to replace it. They offered me the option to purchase an extended warranty but wouldn't extend the warranty on their own in good faith. This experience has shown me that Electrolux does not truly stand behind their products. They received full price for what is now essentially a refurbished dryer. Don't make the same mistake I did—look elsewhere for a reliable dryer.

Would not have given this dryer one star, but I could not have completed this review. Purchased dryer 8/30/24, loud drum noises started 2/10/25(6 mos. later). This dryer with the washer cost over 2,000.00 from Lowe’s and this is the 2nd problem with a large appliances we’ve had with Lowe’s ie..(Maytag washer). Beware of purchasing Electrolux appliances and Maytag. Will never buy these products or any large appliance from Lowe’s again.

Best investment in my laundry routine! Bummed that the dryer seal & door are not the tightest seal....door wobbles! Had techies come to try to fix on brand new dual. But, was told it's how it will be...not super happy about it.
