Dryer door leaks water. Yes Dryer! Leaks water onto the Washer Dial. Had service out twice and we are sending the pair back and replacing with Samsung. We have had these for 6 weeks. There are only two of us with a pair of smaller stacked Electrolux washer & dryer upstairs, my wife uses for her personal laundry. So... We haven't used the ELFG7637AW0 but a few times. The other issue with the dryer is the lint... We just remodeled our laundry room and put all new custom dryer exhaust to the outside. The Amount of lint that bypasses the filter is unacceptable. The outside vent has been cleaned once since delivered and it is already 60precent full of lint. The amount of lint entering into the machine past the lint filter is crazy. The lint filter screen is so tight it forces the lint to find the cracks for the suction to pull it through. The dryer looks 5years old already. The service tech said I had to wash the filter after use of the machines. Laundry should not be any more work than it has to be. As for the washer... It makes a grinding noise and is not as good as the Samsung we had for 15 years. For the money these machines are built very cheaply and I would recommend you but an alternative product. Would have left pictures but this site works about as good as the washer and dryer.

I have only owned it for about 10 days. So far i am impressed with how easy it is to use. _x000D_ The controls are not difficult to figure out. I am still getting used to the bells and whistles, but so far so good. I would recommend this dryer.

We’ve only had our washer and dryer for a few weeks so may be early to review but so far we are very happy. They are located on our main floor so quietness was really important and it is pretty darn quiet. They seem to wash things well My only complaint is I don’t think the dryness sensor in the dryer works correctly

Delivered December 28th, 2023, installed the same day. We average 3 loads of laundry every day. Our last Electrolux dryer, EIMGD60JIW, purchased in 2015, was excellent - loved that machine. Lasted approximately 8,000 full cycles. THE GOOD The controls on the new model are great. We liked the ones on the old model; we like these even more. Very logical and easy to use. Plenty of options. Drying performance is also great. Dries clothes as good as the last one. Zero complaints. We like the new lint screen. Definite improvement over the old model. THE NOT-SO-GOOD They cheapened the door. The old one had a soft-touch open/close mechanism. We really liked that. Earlier on, we were concerned the old mechanism would break, but it lasted without any problems for the entire life of the machine. The new mechanism is a very loud latch that just feels cheaper - because it is. The entire opening is smaller than the old machine, so adding and removing clothes is a little more difficult than before. Both of these comments are MINOR, and neither would keep us from purchasing this machine again. THE UGLY Installed 12/28. Within 2 days, we noticed a repetitive ticking sound when the machine is running. I went to Lowe's more than a day later, so Lowe's told me we had to work with Electrolux. I placed a service request with them within a week of installing the machine (Work Order # 86920754). The local service provider sent a really helpful technician to my house. Due to the difficult location of the machine, I helped him get the top and front cover off - we worked together the entire time. He removed the belt from the motor, and he confirmed he could hear the ticking sound just by rotating the motor shaft manually, so we knew it had nothing to do with the drum or the rollers the drum rests on - it is specifically related to the motor and, possibly, the blower fan that is attached to the same shaft as the motor. He brought this to the attention of the service company and Electrolux, and Electrolux's answer is this: they documented the ticking sound on the motor in case of future failure, but replacing the motor is not covered under the warranty. This is unacceptable. I spent over a thousand dollars on the top of the line dryer from the company that makes the best non-commercial dryers on the market. The machine delivered to my house has a defect, and Electrolux is unwilling to fix the problem or replace the machine. Unless Electrolux reverses this decision, I will never recommend Electrolux or Fridigaire to anyone.

Love the dryer. Easy to use. Very efficient _x000D_ Only negative is the gas intake pipe is located in the recess where the exhaust vent runs. Seems to me that it should not be there as it limits how the vent can fit in limited space behind dryer.

My wife and I had a 15-20 year old washer/dryer and it was time to upgrade. This dryer is a beast. It’s got a ton of capacity, steam feature, and it dries our clothes in about 1/3 of the time it took our old gas dryer to. It’s fast and efficient, and it looks great too. Installation was pretty simple for me (I’m pretty handy) and the dryer is relatively quiet as well. We spend a good few months doing research on which brand we should go with, and this Electrolux set had the best reviews from customers, so we went with them.

Machine works great. Drys clothes fast and has a lot of different modes. Happy with my purchase.
