The freezer was selected because we could have the door open from the other side. Problem was it wasn't manufacturered correctly resulting in months of back and forth which finally resulted in a buy back offer. Problem was we HD to but another of the same brand. Fine. We did. _x000D_ It has the same problem. We bought a different model. And it still won't work. _x000D_ Will never buy another one

Purchased this freezer to replace a 20+ year old upright that was NOT frost free. This new freezer holds everything nicely and is very quiet when running.

Naturally our expectations were high as we patiently waited 6 weeks for our freezer to be delivered. It’s been 3 weeks and well.... it’s been ok I guess. The freezer is rarely opened as it sits in the basement, yet there is always frost on the items. It seems to be barely keeping items frozen. Recently placed a case of individual water bottles in the freezer for my students in my 1st and 2nd hour. I initially feared leaving the case of water for over 12 hours might freeze the water bottles solid. However, as suspected the water was partially frozen and ironically ended up being perfect for what I needed that day. I wonder if all the new freezers operate at just below freezing temperatures?
