We purchased this freezer about one month ago and are very happy with it. It is very roomy and low key looking. The handle is recessed inside the side of the door, so the front is very sleek. The shelves are adjustable / removable for cleaning as are the door shelves. It is very quiet. Overall, very pleased with this freezer!

In early May our aging freezer gave up the ghost. Our wonderful neighbor had an empty freezer and allowed us to use hers while we hunted for a new one. We called one of our favorite dealers but they had none "because of the Pandemic, people were buying freezers to stock up on foods" We had no idea. However, it is what we heard from every dealer we phoned or emailed including HomeDepot and Lowes. Everyone told us nothing would be in until August. Then unexpectedly our first carrier called us a week later and said that they were getting a shipment of Frigidares 16cu. We paid for it immediately and they delivered it 2 days later. It is roomy and as spacious as our last freezer and works quite well. Couldn't ask for better!

Our last Frigidaire 17 Cu Ft upright freezer went out went out after about 5 years in service. It was repaired once under warranty. So had to purchase a new freezer. The new one arrived in a few days and is working fine.

We purchased this freezer to replace an old one that was worn out, I didn't realize how bad the old one was until we started using the new one, it is so quiet and really freezes super cold and is much more efficient. We love it.
