We are very pleased with the freezer but when we tried to change the door opening side the directions were so vague (note: the door light connection wiring stays on the left side of the upper door hinge regardless of which way the door opens) we contacted the Frigidaire online chat option for assistance. First we were told the freezer did not come with this option and we had to show the person where in the manual and on the website this feature was listed. Next they sent us contradicting information and when we asked why the information they sent was different, they told us they weren't the right people to contact and told us to call a number for another department. We called the appliance store where we bought the freezer and luckily one of the repair techs had just dealt with the same issue the day before so he was able to explain it (he agreed the instructions we very unclear).

This freezer has all the features I was looking for and more. Inside LED light, good sized interior, outside on/off indicator light and super quiet. The price was right and delivery was right on the button. This Frigidaire replaced a smaller 20 year plus Frigidiare so I am confident in the quality.

We bought this a month ago to be able to stock up on necessities to avoid going to the store too often during this Covid pandemic. I am so glad we did. The freezer holds so much! It has a lot of door storage for smaller items that you dont want to lose and each shelf holds a lot. we were able to put 70 lbs of ground beef on 1 shelf! There is a convenient pull out basket at the bottom and even an alarm that sounds if the door is accidentally left open even a crack. We love the upright compared to our previous chest freezer because we don't lose food to the very bottom. Very easy to store everything you have neatly.

I purchased this freezer a couple of months ago. It is the best freezer I have owned. The way the cold air is dispersed up and down the freezer is great. Everything in the freezer stays frozen the same. It runs very quiet. And the green light that is on the bottom lets me know it is working perfectly. And the 16 cu. ft freezer holds much more than I imagined. You can arrange the shelves any way you want them and there is a lot of storage on the door. This is a great freezer.

We purchased this product inJune, and have been very pleased with it from the beginning. So happy we chose this size, instead of the smaller one. Love the green light which glows on the floor to let us know that the freezer is functioning properly.

Our 20 year old freezer died. It was full of food and our house was filled with guests for the week. So glad we were able to buy this unit. Virtually every store was sold out. Everybody who horded food for the Covid-19 pandemic apparently also bought a freezer!
