4 Great fridge/freezer!

This is a great fridge/freezer!!! It’s absolutely cold enough on the “recommended” setting! It’s roomy enough inside and I LOVE the width of the door compartments — they’re perfect for my soda bottles (my only vice!). I have a VERY small kitchen and it’s not an overwhelming size on the outside. Even the freezer compartment is a decent enough size. _x000D_ I would have given this fridge 5 stars, but I really wish it had a drawer compartment for deli and cheeses — I’m finding I’m having deli meat bags and little bricks of cheese all over the fridge, whereas I’d prefer to contain them all in one place. _x000D_ In any case, you can’t go wrong with this appliance.

3 It's a very basic no frills fridge.

I have this fridge at the cottage where it serves the purpose. However I was surprised to discover there's no light in the freezer and there are no cheese or butter sections in the fridge.

5 Nice and quiet.

We are happy with the layout of the inside of the fridge. It is nice and quiet, which is good since it is in our family room.

4 Problems When First Delivered

The light in the fridge did not work on delivery and after a day the fridge was not cooling to the desired temperatures. Had a service technician come out and he found that a ground wire was disconnected and that caused the light and cooling fan to not work. Since fixed the fridge is working perfectly.

1 Everything freezes

Bought this refrigerator early February and had problems right away with temperature settings. First of all, the refrigerator section wasn't cold enough. I had it on recommended setting and went up to coldest. Then the freezer section started to ice over. I went down from recommended setting to lowest setting. Items started to freeze in the refrigerator section. All my produce was frozen. Freezer still iced over. I called the company. They said I hadn't registered my appliance yet. Anyway, they suggested I unplug the fridge for 24 hrs. This was a chore since I am 71 y.o. and my fridge was full. I moved as much out of it as I could but still ended up gouging my vinyl floor when I moved the fridge. I remember, once upon a time, when there used to be an OFF setting inside the fridge to defrost it. Why don't they do this anymore????? It seems to be working fine right now but as soon as I put more stuff in the freezer, it starts to ice up again!!! Can we put ANYTHING in the freezer?? Is it meant to stay empty??? Seems to me I should be able to put food in there, don't you think?? I'm pretty sure I'll be calling you again before the warranty expires and in that case, I'll want a NEW fridge because there will be nothing to fix.
