We bought this for our basement, and after it was put in, I found the door wouldn't close on its own if I had it open like 1/4, but once I push it past the 1/8 opening mark, it would close on it's own. it is important that the fridge fully close on it's own as people use it and may not remember to push it closed after taking something out, and where it is in the basement, we won't hear the alarm that the door is open. I took the door off, and found there is a latch type clip at the pin that the door rotates on that prevents the door from closing. I took this clip off, and reinstalled the door, and the door now closes without any issues. Most people won't be handy like this and won't be able to fix their fridge.

We purchased one of these beautiful looking fridges, along with the matching freezer. But we discovered within four years that they seem to have a design flaw. The coolant all leaked out, due to a deteriorated copper line. Apparently this is a known problem, which renders the fridge useless. It cost us over$1000 to fix it. I reached out to Frigidaire for assistance and they have not helped us.

We bought this fridge a month ago and we LOVE it. Easy to change the door to put it on the other side, as we needed it. It is true that the door is not closing by itself as written in other reviews, but it is a feature for us when trying to put in big items inside because there no need to keep the door open with another hand (only have two of them!). It did not make any noise in our home, and we appreciate it (there were many reviews stating lots of noise but it's not our case)

Bought this model 3 months ago and after 5 service calls and major run around still not working. Still waiting for the next service company to call and make an appointment. Last service guy said that they can’t do the closed cooling system repair and the service department would contact me in 24 hours, 12 days later I called them. Then told the next service company would contact me in 24 hours we are at the 4th day now. It would appear the seller does not care about their customers. What happened this brand used to be a market leader, it’s a shame how far they have fallen. I plan to start posting on all social media and make sure people don’t get taken advantage of. Considering buying another freezer this weekend and it won’t be from the same company as they don’t work.

Purchased this fridge a couple weeks ago and simply love the extra room it provides. Had a birthday party for one of my kids and was super happy to have all the space I needed to keep all the extra party stuff including the cake boxes. The self closing door is also a great feature to have with small kids to keep the door closed after they go get a juice box. Great product, well built very happy with my purchase.

I ordered the fridge after seeing a model at a laboratory. It is what I wanted, a simple fridge with minimal specialty shelves and contraptions inside. Delivery was a problem and was delayed several times, finally being delivered 6 weeks after the first promised date. This is not a problem for a second fridge but would be for a primary fridge.

We have had the fridge for a few weeks now and ate very happy with the purchase. It is larger than expected and runs very quietly. Lots of space.
