We’ve had the oven for a few weeks. The induction stovetop heats fast, it took us a week or so to get used to turning on elements with buttons instead of knobs. The oven has all the basic functions we need: convection bake and bake. Features that would be nice: a keypad to enter the oven temperature instead of holding an up or down button. You can either see the clock, or the timer, not both at the same time.

The stove is excellent except for one thing . The large burner is not fully effective through the area marked with white stripes. An inch on one side does not engage, which is obvious when looking at water starting to boil, and the full circle is not covered with bubbles. Food in that area of a frying pan does not cook as fast. Yes, I tried more than one pan.

I upgraded from a very old electric stove to this Frigidaire Front Control Induction Range, and it is quite the upgrade. The induction cooktop is amazing, and I can never go back to radiant heat. Boiling water and frying just about anything is a dream, I never imagined having this much control over heat with an electric range was possible. I also like the fact that the features on this range are simple (Convection Bake, Warming, Bake, Broil), offering everything you need but no extra frills. Some more expensive models offer 15+ different ways to cook but I like the simplicity of this model. _x000D_ _x000D_ A couple of minor annoyances: I find the touch screen interface on the front of the range to be a bit finicky, and I miss having dials. Sometimes it doesn't register button presses... Turning on a burner right after turning on the cooktop doesn't always work on the first try (maybe it needs a second to boot up). I also wish the burner "radius" were a bit bigger as the heat concentrates in the middle of the pan, especially on the smaller burners but it is still way more even heat than my old range. Other than that, I haven't noticed any issues with the range and this is a great value for the price compared to other inductions stoves. Can't really speak to reliability yet, I have only owned it for a month but so far so good and time will tell.

C'est la 2e cuisinière à induction Frigidaire que j'ai - cette version est plus sophistiquée et plus performante; le seul hic - les boutons contrôle sont à l'avant de l'appareil et à chaque fois que tu t'approches de l'appareil, le bip, bip se déclenche et parfois la cusinière s'éteind; aussi, c'est impossible d'allumer tout de suite le rond au maximum (P) , on finit par s'habituer. Autre avantage, le four a la cuisson à convexion si on veut.
