I bought this about a month ago to help with my new pandemic lifestyle: making more if my own food and freezing some, and making less frequent trips to buy groceries, but buying larger quantities that need freezing. I chose this model partly because of good Consumer Reports reviews for Frigidaire and partly because it fits through the doorways to my basement and storage room. So far the freezer haa been great. It runs quietly and looks good. A very practical addition to our home.

This freezer is perfect for two seniors living in a rural area where there are no “quick” runs to the store! Big enough to satisfy but not so big as to loose and forget what’s in there! Have had it for 3 months and no issues.

We had to wait a bit for our freezer due to the pandemic - but it was worth it. It's larger than it looks, has a super-bright interior that makes finding things easy, as do the multiple shelves for organizing the contents. It has made my life easier, and wasting food less likely.

Just the right size for two people, love the light at the bottom so you can tell it_x000D_ has power. Unit is in the garage and can see the light very easily. Has kept the_x000D_ temperature consistent, adjustable shelves are a plus, and frost free is a no brainer._x000D_ Highly recommend this unit.

My 30 year old Kenmore went out so I had to replace. I’m hoping this unit serves me as well as my old freezer did. I love the power light indicator on the bottom of the door as well as the interior light. It’s a nice slim design so it doesn’t take up a lot of room.

I'd been looking for a mid-sized upright freezer with full-size features for the longest time, and was about to give up. Seems that the upright freezer market is 99% either narrow, 10 cu. ft. and smaller, manual defrost models... or wide 18 cu. ft. and greater "deluxe" models, with hardly any offerings in the middle. I finally found this 13 Cu Ft. Frigidaire._x000D_ _x000D_ Based on my storage requirements and available space, I needed an upright freezer which was both medium capacity AND width. _x000D_ _x000D_ I'd have gone with just that, but was very happy to find that this model included several features normally found only on full-sized versions, including:_x000D_ - Automatic defrost_x000D_ - Interior Lighting (bright white LED)_x000D_ - External power-on light_x000D_ - Audible high-temp alarm_x000D_ - Reversible Door_x000D_ - Door shelves_x000D_ _x000D_ The thermostat is an older-fashioned rotary style (as opposed to push-button), and there is no digital temperature display, but since the use is basically "set it and forget it", as long as it works at all, you're good without that particular added tech... especially with the security of the power-on indicator and the high-temp alarm._x000D_ _x000D_ An added bonus is that this freezer is >exceptionally quiet<; not an issue where I have mine located, but I'm sure is an consideration in other households. _x000D_ _x000D_ Everyone here is very satisfied with this freezer, and have no qualms at all about recommending it to anyone else looking for a mid-size/capacity upright.
