First of all, it was very easy to change the door opening; 2-person project but easy with good instructions. The freezer meets our needs, sturdy shelves inside and on the door. Bottom basket is added plus. Temp is maintained. Door seal is secure. Excellent freezer, especially for the price.

This freezer has features other similar freezers don't ( i.e. ajustable shelves, open door warning, over temperature warning etc) We looked at other similar sized and priced freezers that didn't have these features. Freezer got down to operating temperature in only 4 hrs. We just received it yesterday, so we can't comment on function yet. So far, so good!

Freezer placed in a utility room/pantry off the dining area. The compact size is perfect for this location after changing the door to open to the left. Plugged in and within 3 or 4 hours reading 5 degrees on "recommended" setting. Checked periodically over next couple of days and temperature the same. Started filling with food and the unit maintained the 5 degrees freezing the food within a couple of hours. We pack all foods in vaccuum bags so not worried about the frost free feature drying out anything. The unit runs very quiet. The green light shown on the floor to let you know it's ON is very bright and can be seen in the living room. Tested the open door alarm after changing door orientation and works fine. After roughly three weeks we are extremely happy. Purchased on sale at a "big box" store to replace a 30+ year old Sears 10 cu. ft. that died last year, will see how this one stands the test of time.

Has plenty of shelf and door storage. It is very quiet and feels solid when you open the door.

This Freezer is just a bit smaller than the one that it replaced (which prematurely developed a freon leak). However due to the layout inside we seem to be able to fit more food.

This is the perfect freezer for additional storage. I love the shelves and compartments in the door. I love having the green light that shows the freezer has power.
