1 Big disappointment

My brand-new top of the line gas range suddenly started beeping 30 min after the install with F16 error on the display. This is before anyone in the house touched it. A quick online search retuned a plethora of articles and videos about this error code (very common). I did the basic troubleshooting without success (unplug, check knobs position, wait 5 min, plug back in, try another plug, etc...). Called Frigidaire customer service immediately and opened warranty case - tech will show up within 3 "business" days (!?). Tech (sub-contractor) shows up eventually day 2 (business) or day 4 (calendar), confirms it needs new control board and display and leaves. No call, no follow up for 2 business days. Call the warranty sub-contractor - parts maybe in "next week".... Called Frigidaire customer service - rehashed events without any actual help in solving the issue, no one to escalate to (no one picked up the "escalation line"), no call back option... advised to "call tomorrow".... So, I cannot use (cook) on my brand-new top of the line Frigidaire Professional rang for 2+ weeks as it stands right now. Needless to say, very, very disappointed in the product quality, warranty service and the whole experience. Starting to regret switching brands... My previous kitchen appliances from a competing brand worked from day one, without a single issue, for 20 years.

1 Very poor

We bought this range 6 weeks ago. For the 15th time different error codes appear meaning that we must disconnect the hydro. Now with company for dinner the 5F code will not shut down. Already, after a previous same model gas range that was a disaster, this one is no better. Also, the stainless steel marks easily. Never again!

2 Don’t buy

Purchased a couple of weeks ago. Love the look of the range. I hate the display screen. There is a delay when u touch a button and the time it shows on the display. Makes it really hard when setting timer. The display should show what function u are using when selecting a function

1 Very frustrated and mad

I purchase a brand new 30” Frigidaire Gas Range recently to as an upgrade and it was delivered Jan 8th 2025. Unfortunately, the dealer was out of stock for the Gas to LP conversion kit. I had to go out of my way to find a supplier and I was able to purchase it the next day after an hour and a half of driving. Had my gas tech do the conversion on the Jan 10th at my cost. If the supplier had the kit in stock, then I could have had them perform the delivery and install all on the same day(2 days earlier). Plugged in the stove and that’s when the big issue raised its ugly head. The circuit board for the Display had gone insane. That is, it just kept on cycling through all the options that could be set through the display and beeping non stop. One could eventually set the clock but after the full cycle it wanted the clock set again within 3 min. The oven light kept turning on & off by itself. All this with out even being near the controls of the display. Unplugging and waiting a minute, then re-plugging did not make a difference. It was plainly a defective circuit board. Had called Frigidaire and the support rep and I went through the possible 3rd party service companies in the area. Found one in the area that the support ticket was sent to. This company could not get a Frigidaire certified gas service tech out to me until Jan 23rd!! just to confirm what I already know and tell Frigidaire the result was the circuit board is defective. We cannot be without a stove for 2 more weeks.(the old working one was removed) Therefore, we found another service company through Frigidaire support closer to us. However, since we did not buy the range from them, they don’t want to service it. They may make an exception however; it may be up to a week if they do so (will know this coming Monday) and their tech is a Frigidaire certified tech but not a gas tech. no matter, he can state the circuit board is bad. Then Frigidaire can repair or replace the unit. If replacement, then I need a Frigidaire GAS TECH or another gas tech like mine to come and change out the LP conversion kit back to Gas & install the kit in the replacement stove at Frigidaire’s cost! This is a lot of hassle for buying a brand-new range. It has not worked from day one. I can understand a day or two but not 2 weeks, we are on day 5 without a stove since delivery. Vert frustrated and not happy!

4 Lovely oven!

Does smoke a lot but as you can see I don’t have my range hood in. The grills were too big for it, called and they are sending me new ones. This is my first new oven and i absolutely love it.

5 Excellent features and clean look.

I couldn’t be happier with the performance of this gas stove. It cooks quickly both the stove top and oven and the air fryer feature has been amazing. It is easy to use and clean. The appearance is also attractive and makes my kitchen look brighter and more spacious.

5 We love our oven

We absolutely love this oven! It’s packed with great features and is incredibly easy to use. Although I was initially hesitant about getting a gas oven, the lighted knobs have been a game-changer. They provide a quick and clear way to confirm everything is properly shut off, giving me extra peace of mind. It’s both functional and stylish—a perfect addition to our kitchen!

1 Day 1 issues take weeks to resolve

Nice looking appliance but it malfunctioned day 1. Took 9 days for a service call and they're already having to replace the control panel which is back ordered and may take weeks to arrive. I have to shut the breaker off after use to avoid random beepeng. I do not trust the appliance now so I am forced to purchase an extended warranty.
