I have had the electrolux ELFW7637AT1 washing machine since June 2022. With any small family the machine is used at least twice a week and 2-3 loads each time. The washing machine also goes through the self-cleaning cycle regularly using the washing machine cleaning tablets. It wasn't until 6 months ago that I noticed a large amount of mould building in the folded edges of the rubber around the opening and rim. There was also a lot of mould sitting inside a tube-like area located at the top part of where the rubber sits. It was pretty thick and horrible to clean out. I have been trying to remove and prevent the mould since, but it's impossible. It seems to be spreading and starting to smell. I am really disappointed with this washing machine. I would avoid purchasing this washing machine and any washing machine that doesn't automatically open after a wash. Also check that the rubber doesn't fold in where water can be captured.

New to front loaders, and liking it. This washer seems to really get our clothes clean, as opposed to our previous machine. Great line of options. So far, so good!

I like the settings and options, especially towel and hand wash, those are big upgrades over my previous washer. It vibrates very hard though while washing, so much so that if anything is on the top, it falls off onto the floor. It also pushes child size socks into the door seal during a cycles and I have to fish them out still soaked and dirty.

This is our second Electrolux washer. The first one we had for 14 years and this is the replacement. The controls are really easy to use and set and there are so many options if needed. My clothes are very clean, the whites are nice and bright and I love the soak option for these loads. We are ‘forced’ to buy Electrolux because it’s the only brand with a reversible door but are really happy with the brand and function. Our previous machine never had any major issues, until the end where the drum was banging (we are big overloaders) but after 14 years we expected it was time for a new one. Hoping we have as much longevity with this new machine.
