I just got this delivered 2 days ago. I upgraded from an old Maytag that just would not die. While the features and cleaning power are so far so good, I am very frustrated by the smell of whatever they put in the machine. It smells distinctly like Raid, and it is spreading. First my whole basement, then my back entryway and now my kitchen all smell awful- exactly like Raid. I have allergies and am quite sensitive to artificial fragrance. I am so disappointed that the company would purposefully taint a fresh product with such a strong artificial fragrance. I am guessing it is something like Affresh that is run through the machine during testing for leaks?? They provide a sample of Affresh and Tide with the machine, but I did not use these. I go to great lengths to avoid bringing artificial fragrances into my home and this has been very frustrating- I cannot get rid of this smell!! I had been anticipating this new machine with such excitement (I'm being very serious), it is too bad I have to deal with a headache and being nauseated until this smell hopefully dissipates. It is the third day and it only seems to have gotten stronger. There really should be an option to decline added fragrance.

Love the 15 min cycle which we use more often than not. Love the pedestal that we got with it.

We had to return the other brand that we bought two months ago as it was not up to our expectations. We had never bought Electrolux brand before, so we thought we would give it a try and it turned out to be great! So quiet and all clothes came out clean even with a shorter cycle!

I bought a pair Electrolux washer (ELFW7437AW) and dryer (ELFE743CAW), which were delivered in April 2024. We didn't start to use them until September 2024. In just over a month, the washer door cannot lock to close. Electrolux had a appliance service company to repair my brand-new Electrolux washer under the manufacture's warranty. The company scheduled a technician’s visit to my house. Two days later, a technician came to do the work. after spending about 10 minutes on inspecting the door issue, the technician told me the door lock needs to be replaced. However, it will take about 2 weeks to order the part. Once the part arrives, then they will call me to schedule a time for them to come to replace the malfunctional door lock. I am very upset since I must wait another two weeks or even loner to have my washer repaired. I am expecting the company to fix the washer in a week as the authorized service company has claimed their service is both of precision and prompt.

Instructions on the door opening feature could be made clearer - ie not sure if it is supposed to be reset everytime although the washer works with it sticking out. I also have a set of plastic disks (not sure if they are from the washer or the dryer) that came witht the set. They don't show up in the manuals anywhere and weren't used as part of my install so I'm not sure what they are for.
