I was a loyal Maytag user. However, when we moved to a new home, the water line location meant that washer door needed to be switched to the other side. Maytag does not offer the option to switch door sides. The salesman suggested that I would be very happy with the quality of the Electrolux. And so, I am. I like many of the features; however, one of my favorites is the mechanism that allows to door to stay slightly ajar when not in use. The ability to have the inside of the washer dry completely without having the door wide open is great. When the inside of the washer is thoroughly dried between used, the opportunity for mold and mildew is greatly reduced.

This is my second Electrolux front loader. My first was a Kitchenaid. It lasted for almost 20 years. It still works. But we wanted an upgrade. And this is a great upgrade

Love it. Lots of bells and whistles. Quick, quiet. I might even add that it makes laundry fun!

Purchased approximately 3 weeks ago after our previous washer failed. So far washer has been great, our family loves the speed cycle and the volume that can be washed.

I had an LG washer for about 13 years with very few problems. Now, my Electrolux has caused multiple problems in just 3 weeks. 1) It is VERY noisy on certain cycles. 2) The door doesn't close properly even after the seller came out to "fix" it. 3) Laundry loads with jeans, towels or sweatshirts often come up with a "SUdS" error message. I am using the manufacturer's guidelines for washing, yet I often have to run clothes through an extra rinse cycle. The seller suggested using a tub cleaner after loads when this happens. So, I pay for extra water, and tub cleaner whenever this happens. Not very time efficient or economically friendly. This is a nice looking machine with nice features, but I miss my LG.
