Bought this from Costco with an extended warranty._x000D_ Have had one month._x000D_ Strange sweet smell in my clothes, small articles end up in the gasket, the detergent drawer is of such poor quality I am afraid it will break each time I open it, it's noisier and shakes way more than my old machine._x000D_ Also very curious about the extensive maintenance instructions, the noise and shaking, but this is compared to my very expensive very old european washer._x000D_ _x000D_ It also is rougher on my clothes than I am used to._x000D_ _x000D_ This machine is not weighted or balanced as well as the european one and you can tell by how it is almost 80lbs lighter. I suppose that is build quality these days.

When I realized that the Kenmore washer I have been using for 20+ yrs was made by Electrolux I gave them a close look and I have been happy with my choice.

Installed the new washer and dryer a couple weeks ago and have used it a bunch of times. So far seems like good quality and does a good job. Seems about average for noise level. I do appreciate the addition of the laundry pod slot in the dispenser so it gets properly dissolved.

Washing machine ELFW763AW. _x000D_ I needed to reverse both the washer and matching dryer doors which is a great feature. But I needed to tap the holes as the cheap phillips head screws would not bite into the existing holes. If you don't have a tap set, good luck. _x000D_ By day 3 the washing machine hot water solenoid failed. We woke up to a drum full of water and we had left the door open to air dry overnight. This could have caused flood damage to the home. _x000D_ Cleaning the filter of this washer requires removing panels, drum weights, electrical boards etc. What should be a regular maintenance item requires a service call OR the time, tools and knowledge to take your new machine apart!_x000D_ The spin cycle also vibrates excessively despite perfect leveling. _x000D_ Trying to call customer service is an exercise in patience and ultimately was a complete failure. _x000D_ Overall a horribly engineered appliance. The matching dryer now makes a clunking noise when spinning. _x000D_ We have made arrangements to have both units returned and are going with a different brand. _x000D_ It is shameful that a manufacturer can be so willfully incompetent in the design of such an expensive machine. I have no confidence in the Electrolux brand.

I have used the washer for 4 weeks now and was pleasantly surprised at how clean and bright the whites came out.. Some old stains treated in my previous washer with javel seemed permanent but not with this washer! I really appreciate the 15 minute cycle as well for small loads. The size is perfect for my king size sheets too. I use Nellie's powder detergent which works really well on both dark and light colors. Love it!

I bought this a month ago and I'm happy I did! I was looking for a washer that could do well with whites and stained clothes. I have a household of 4 boys who are into sports. I use the optic whites or activewear mode and the clothes come out smelling fresh and clean! This washer is efficient, quiet and amazing!
