The biggest advantage to Electrolux is the reversible doors. I have had drum issues on the last two models but the warranty and extended warranty had covered them.

Believe the reviews that say this is a noisy washer. It is my first front loader and first Electrolux appliance other than a vacuum cleaner that lasted decades. _x000D_ What I find most disconcerting is the smell that wafts from the drain spout if the clothes are not IMMEDIATELY removed from the washer. I have followed instructions for stopping the smell multiple times.My next move is to remove the drain pipe and pour in vinegar and baking soda. otherwise the machine works well and clothes are clean.

I had an Electrolux washer and dryer several years ago. I loved them, but when my husband and I sold our last house the buyers had asked for the washer and dryer to be included in the purchase. We agreed, and when we moved to our new house I decided to try a top load washer in a different brand. I regretted that decision, and after hating that washer and dryer every day for 2 years I finally decided to go ahead and get rid of them and switch back to Electrolux. I'm so happy with my new washer and dryer. They are so quiet and efficient and get things noticeably cleaner. Excellent machines!
