Love, Love, LOVE this washer. My clothes smell so fresh and clean right out of the washing machine. The premixing of the the detergent with the water seems to be trick in getting it to disperse in the clothes and Not just sitting on top of the clothes. I am very happy with my purchase. The "pods" feature is definitely a plus, as they never full dispersed into the machine and sometimes ended up sticking to clothing "half dissolved."

Our new 4.5 cu.ft. Electrolux front load washer works like a charm! It is quite and does a great job of washing.

Before we used our new washer for the first time I attempted to reverse the door on the washer. Watching the You Tube tutorial I went through the first step of removing the screws. That done I found the door difficult to lift off. Not wanting to do any damage and I reinstalled the screws and we moved the washer into place. We hooked up the water, drain tube and the power and started a small load of wash. Our machine made a horrible noise. It sounded like a chain riding over a sprocket. Noisy. We did finish the load, and then called the dealer. They made a note of it and notified the service department. Shortly thereafter we started another small load and our new washing machine performed flawlessly and quietly. Beautiful! We called the dealer and cancelled the service order.

So far so good . This Electrolex washer performs better than any washer I have ever owned . It does a wash cycle in no time at all and if you spin the load on the high setting the clothes come out just damp which results in shorter drying time . Overall very pleased with my purchase .

We replaced a 20 year old front loader that finally gave up the ghost with the Electrolux 4.5 cu ft front load washer (the 5 series). This is a beast. It is quiet and does its job quickly and effectively. I appreciate the multiple setting that address each of the properties of the specific load I am doing.
