5 Really nice refrigerator

We purchased this unit as a secondary unit for our garage. For the same price as we paid we were up against the lowest end apartment sized units with metal shelving. This unit is really quite attractive and the finish looks the same as our stainless units. I hope that the finish holds up in the long run and doesnt end up rusting. So far so good though and getting the 50$ rebate from the power company made it all the sweeter!

4 Limited inside space with middle drawer

I like some of the features, however, the drawer in the middle is not placed very well because you have space on each side which is too small/narrow to put anything; if the drawer was to the side all the way, then it opens up more space; still waiting on my ice maker though.

4 Enjoy our new refrigerator

The refrigerator has lots of room for its size. Enjoy the self closing doors and interior lights. The drawers are small but the shelves on the doors make up for it! I love the size of the three shelves! They hold a majority of our bottles/containers. The exterior is beautiful and easy to clean. I gave four stars because our freezer door had a manufacturer dent on the inside of our freezer door. It not seen from the outside so no major problem for us.

5 Great energy savings, smart design, beautiful look

I bought this refrigerator a month ago and am extremely pleased with it. I chose it because of Frigidaire's excellent reputation and the size match with my old GE White-Westinghouse refrigerator which was 14 cu. ft. with 10 cu. ft. refrigerator space and 4 cu. ft. freezer space._x000D_ Prior to buying the new refrigerator I measured the energy consumption of my old unit (over a 3 week span to obtain a statistically strong measurement) using a Ponile P2000 plug-in energy meter which measures wattage, cumulative electrical consumption in kilowatt hours and cumulative time of consumption (I greatly recommend this inexpensive meter). My old refrigerator was using (i.e. wasting) an amazing 120 watts average, or about 2.9 kwh per day which is almost 90 kwh per month. _x000D_ The U.S. Government Energy Guide which comes with this refrigerator estimates 332 kwh yearly electrical useage which divided by 12 months yields consumption of only 27.7 kwh per month, daily consumption of 0.9 kwh per day or .038 kwh per hour which means an average wattage use of 38 watts. Immediately upon the installation of the FFHT1425VV I plugged it into my meter and in the full month since then this refrigerator is amazingly only using 27 watts average, or 0.65 kwh per day which is only 19.5 kwh per month compared to my old unit at 90 kwh per month!! Based on this performance, at the high Con Edison (New York City) electical rate of 28 cents average per kilowatt hour I will save at least $225 a year on electrical costs and these impressive savings will pay for the refrigerator in only a few years, after which the miniscule energy consumption will put this money in my pocket._x000D_ In addition to the great energy savings there are numerous other features to appreciate._x000D_ The interior layout makes all areas easily accessible. The glass shelves allow for immediate_x000D_ visibility of all contents of the refrigerator. The large shelves on the refrigerator door allow me to keep all my beverages and condiments and other frequently used items within easy reach. The recess in the top of the refrigerator door used to open it eliminates the need for a space wasting projecting handle. And the coup de grace is the handsome brushed steel finish. I tend to be a very discriminating and demanding consumer but this refrigerator superbly meets all my needs and I highly recommend it.

5 The Extra Room We Needed

I’ve had the fridge for about a month and it is serving it’s purpose as well as looking pretty stylish. I needed extra room and this provides plenty of it.

4 sleek looking

We purchased this model because it has a nice size freezer for a smaller sized refrigerator. It's very sleek looking with the handles built into the door. Looks very nice and functions well. Switching the swing of the doors was doable, but quite difficult and best to be avoided if possible.

1 Not cold enough!!!!

With unit at the coldest settings both Refrigerated section and freezer section of this unit will not reach required temperatures.. lowest temperature for freezer is 10 degrees Fahrenheit. Ice cream is soft. We had a service call and still the temperature was not fixed. Dissatisfied that the unit is not cold enough.
