This is a nice looking refrigerator that is serving me well as a second frig in the basement. I have had it for nearly a month with no difficulty thus far. It appears to be well designed with ample space on the door shelves and in the freezer.

Does anybody want a basic fridge that is attractive, works well, is spacious yet compact, energy efficient, hold and keeps a lot of perishables anymore? This is that fridge. No ice, no water dispenser, no computerized anything, just a standard refrigerator that looks good and works well. I recommend the product. The door holds lots of condiments and has room for tall bottles.

The refrigerator and freezer worked fine for a few weeks. One day it started making a very loud noise. It is not located in my kitchen, so I did not get too alarmed. Later that day, the noise stopped. I checked the freezer and everything was thawing out. I emptied everything and unplugged it. Plugged it in the next day and it worked again. It has been fine since, but I have very little in it. The freezer has some vents in the back of it and I was wondering if they need to have space between them and food. Owners manual does not spell that out. It is a hassle to keep checking to see if the thing is operating.
