Our landlords bought a new fridge 4 weeks ago for the house we are renting now, now it's broken, we lost a lot of food in the freezer and the fridge, they sent 2 different tech to check the problem, they don't have the part, they don't want to change the fridge, we are without a fridge for Christmas and for the next 2 weeks apparently, they just killed our Christmas now... bad after sale service !!!! very bad....

had this for just under 2 months brand new came with our house just bought an the fridge died an spoiled all the food inside..._x000D_ tried unplugging to reset it and nothing..._x000D_ side note freezer still working

J'ai acheté ce réfrigérateur le mois dernier et je le regrette amèrement. Frigidaire est une excellente marque vous pouvez vous y fier sauf pour ce modèle._x000D_ Pour la partie frigo: la température recommandée maintient le tout à 10° et même en étant au quart vers le coolest on frôle le 7._x000D_ Mon congélateur fait de la glace, ce que mon ancien n'a jamais fait en 12 ans(même marque). Donc même avec un rabais subtentiel, trouvez en un autre.

We bought this unit 90 days ago to replace a fridge we had for 16 years. We bought our previous fridge from friends who were updating their kitchen, so it was not new when we got it. We bought our new fridge as our old one started to leak as some of the tubes were rusting. _x000D_ Our fridge stopped working approximately 10 days ago. We did not notice as we could hear the fridge running as usual. It wasn’t until I opened the freezer to get meat for dinner that I discovered a horrible smell as everything had thawed and spoiled. I then realized the food (milk, cheese, eggs, etc.) in the fridge compartment wasn’t cold either. We adjusted the thermostat to no avail. We called the store and they placed a service call for us, as per their agreement with Frigidaire. We then waited a week for service. _x000D_ I reached out to Frigidaire last week and we still haven’t had any response!_x000D_ The service technician has just left and was unable to repair our fridge. _x000D_ Words cannot express my complete disappointment with this product and the manufacturer.

The top freezer is a generous size. The problem is that people have to stoop to use the fridge part. The fridge is constantly used, and people are constantly stooping uncomfortably. Another problem is that there is a gap at the back of the trays, so stuff will always be falling down the back.

We own the FFTR1835VW. I always read lots of reviews before making a major purchase. This fridge seemed to be popular, and I read many comments about how quiet it is. Only a very few reviewers said it was noisy. Having had it for about a month and a half, I have to agree with those who say it is too loud, and for that reason alone I would not buy this fridge again. It's not that it makes sounds that you would not expect, but rather that they are way too loud. In my case, it's the evaporator fan. Normally you would not expect to be able to hear it unless you opened the freezer door. But on this fridge you can hear the fan even with the door closed. In fact, I can hear it in other rooms on the main floor of my house and even in the upstairs hallway. There is no way that should be the case. The fridge technician who came out to look at it told me he felt it was normal based on what he's seen, and that it's the result of using insulation that is good for efficiency but not good for muffling sound. In summary, for anyone looking for a quiet fridge, don't choose this one. It will disappoint.

great little fridge except the "auto closing" door hinges are an epic fail. Hopefully that design flaw is removed on future units

We bought this product in March 2021. It recently just stopped working. We contact 2 technicians and they both said that it was the compressor that was non repairable. Refrigerant R600A. As soon as we mentioned the brand, they knew the problem and they were not able to do anything. When we contacted Frigidaire they told us we needed to pay for the repair costs but would help us with the parts. How can you send parts to a fridge that technicians say is non repairable? It does not make sense. I am very upset with the service and care.

My last fridge decided to stop working just in time for Christmas, so I was rushed to purchase a new and reasonably-priced one. Found exactly what I was looking for (top freezer) and had it delivered the following morning. Works great and is very spacious for my needs. :)
