We installed our new micro/oven just about 2 weeks ago now. The microwave portion of the unit works very well and is reasonably easy to figure out. I use the fast keys alot. I do find that using a lower power setting than 100% is not the most intuititve to program in. I still need to refer to the manual for this. The oven portion works well too but it is even more confusing how to use it. The instructions are not easy to figure out and I have a university education. I would have loved some 'how to videos' and calling customer support was not helpful for this request. If you are patient on learning how to use the appliance you will like its small size (for an oven) and convenience of having the micro built in. You could easily get away with this unit as your main oven if you had a small household.

Bought an entire kitchen suite of Frigidaire appliances, including this convection/microwave. Door hinge broken about 12 m later, and microwave won't even display the time. Despite buying an "extended warranty" for 5 years, none of this is covered by Frigidaire or its extended warranty provider. New door is about $1000 cash, and then we still don't know if it will work. What a waste of money. I'll never buy another Frigidaire/Electrolux product.

I love everything about this unit, but the bottom hinge door is horrid. We installed the unit above the wall oven and dropped everything as low as possible because I am only 5'3"_x000D_ I can barely reach in to pull food out, and have to use a cloth and tongs to wipe the inside of the microwave. Even standing on a stool, I cant reach the back because the door is in the way. A side opening door would be a much better design.

I bought this two years ago and I also had problems with the wheels sparking under the plate, causing it to shut down. How do we replace the wheels? Also, now it has decided to start randomly shutting all the way off, screen and everything. Completely resets. AND, when the timer goes it appears to keep running inside. Why? Is this safe? It makes me nervous to open it when I can hear it is still running something inside.

I’ve had the microwave for three weeks now and am still getting familiar with its features. So far, it’s been good, but I’ve noticed it tends to get dirtier than traditional models. If you have kids, be especially cautious with the pull-down door; it doesn’t lock, so anyone can open it during operation. On the bright side, it does stop heating immediately if the door is opened.
