Faster than gas - yes, it is so. I prove it to my friends when they doubt me… Faster than electric. Very EASY to clean. LOVE that the buttons are on top of the counter so they're away from little hands. I am thrilled that when I'm cooking something messy I can put down a paper towel, and then my pan, and I have no mess… The changes between temperatures are immediate and when I turn the heat off it does not leave a hot burner. For me it is the best thing for my little grandchildren should they get curious or want to help. I can't imagine ever wanting to go back to the slowness of an electric cooktop and most certainly don't want to have the hassle of cleaning a gas cooktop. I've had both and should've done induction a lot sooner!

I would give this product 6 stars if I could. The installation was easy. The cooktop heats so evenly. I can keep warm, summer, and sear better than on my gas cooktop. I can boil 4 quarts of cold water in less than 2 minutes. The surface is easy to clean and is very durable. I love the fact that this product had knobs instead of those annoying touch screen displays. For the money you would be hard pressed to find a better cooktop.

Way better than gas cooktop it replaced. Looks good. Was able to install this cooktop and keep existing "snorkel" blower/vent... IMPORTANT.

We installed this a few weeks ago. Brilliant all around. The best temperature control I’ve seen from an electric cooktop and the induction feature is exceptional. Install was straightforward and easy.

We purchased the proseffional series for our kitchen. This unit is the only one I have had issues with it. We have been using it for only a month and will have to have a second repair person come to address yet another code. We have had several codes since using the unit. The 1st code after only using the unit less than 2 weeks. I feel like this is not normal and may have a defective stove top but was told that they can only have it serviced any time a code appears. I feel like for the money we spent and the time frame we have used it, something is wrong with it. To have the stove taken apart 3 times and put back together does not give me confidence in this unit. We shall see after the next repair man comes to address the current code. Prior to having the codes, I loved the style and using the cooktop. Water boils almost immediately with the power boost function. I would suggest the extended warrenty esp. since the unit will not be replaced even it it seems defective.

We have had our cook-top for about a month now and I'm still completely in love. So easy to use and clean up. Great transition from traditional electric to induction!

Our first induction cooktop and we are very pleased. The response time for setting changes is incredible. We've had an assortment of gas and electric stoves over the years and preferred gas. Our new house did not have gas available without the expensive installation of propane so we went with this induction cooktop. Glad we did. It's nicely designed, looks good and works great. Can boil small pots of water in seconds. And because the surface doesn't get very hot, it makes spills very easy to clean.

Immediate on. Immediate off. Fast, even cooking. Where has my Frigidaire induction cooktop BEEN all my life?!!
