We purchased this property with this appliance pre-installed new. We thought it looked pretty cheap. But turns out it's a pretty good dishwasher! I am not a fan of the plastic trays. I would have opted for something more sturdy, but this has proven very reliable.

This dishwasher came installed in our brand new FABMAC home. All appliances are Frigidaire, which we were originally very excited about. However, this dishwasher does NOT clean dishes. In fact, a huge amount of water & soap are wasted, because it doesn't do its job. I am forced to get most of the food off each dish BEFORE putting in in the dishwasher because when I don't, the dishes come out looking like they got a really hot water bath, but with food and grease still stuck on everything. And we rinse every dish before putting in into the dishwasher and don't let "dirty" dishes sit in it for very long before running a cycle. I'm using the Cascade which are recommended but they didn't work so I Finish as well, but it doesn't make a difference. In fact, one time I washed the dishes and they came out with 'white sand' all over them. I looked in the bottom on the dishwasher and the "pod" was sitting in the bottom broken in 2 pieces, not dissolved. Another time I ran a load and found dirty dishes, and I was so frustrated that a pod and water was wasted, but when I went to run another load, the first pod was still sitting in the pocket like it was brand new. Also, the racks aren't very secure and they are pretty hard to push in / pull out. This is our first dishwasher in a very long time and it completely brings me back to my childhood, because it's essentially the same dishwasher. Very disappointing so I'm really hoping Frigidaire monitors reviews and reaches out to see if they can shed some light as to a positive solution or replace it with a dishwasher that actually does it's job and lives up to the advertising and marketing and brand claims. I would be more than happy to re-review the product if it's replaced with a model that actually works and saves us time, money and water.

This model came with my home. I bought a new construction home in February 2020 and this model was chosen by the builder, I assume. I am very diligent to rinse dishes of any food or debris prior to running them through the dishwasher so I can't really attest to how it cleans. I do like the heated dry feature on any dishwasher but I find on this model the interior of the appliance, as well as my dishes, are still extremely wet even when using the heated dry option.
