I bought this cooktop to replace my old Frigidaire Gallery Cooktop which was 16 yrs old and two burners quit working properly. This one works just as well but the top seems harder to keep clean than the other even though I clean it according to instructions. Still I Iove it and it works and looks great. I'm used to cleaning it thoroughly after each use so no problem there. One thing I don't like is that there is a small gap between the cooktop and the counter surface so food and crumbs can get between/under the edge. My old one seemed to sit flatter or had a casket or something that prevented this space - thus nothing could get underneath the edge. We had the store install it so even though he had to go get some other type of bracket from his service van to use, it wasn't a big deal as he knew what to do. Overall, I love my cooktop and know the Frigidaire brand has held up for me for years in the past.

I like the cooktop but it will take a little while to get use to the heat settings. Some burners I have to turn up to 3 to simmer in covered pan. It cleans up well but scratches easily. I haven't used it much and am careful to not slide the pans but it see a few small scratches already.

I replaced a 60s era cooktop with this one and had a little problem fitting it into the cut out space since there was no trim kit for the short sides. This is something Frigidaire might consider.

Bought this cooktop and I love it. It drops in to the existing hole in my countertop, and wires up to only three wires (240v). Took like 30 minutes.

Our Frigidaire 30" cooktop is great. I often use two large pots/pans when cooking and the large heating elements are staggered allowing both to be used simultaneously without interference. I especially like the 3500 watt element and how quickly it heats.

Have had this for 3 weeks now and love it. Heats evenly and faster than my old burner electric stove. So easy to install everything was there that was needed and it was done in under 1 hour.

We had to replace our old existing ceramic glass stove top due to cracks and one burner not working. This stove top fit our size and our needs by providing 9" burners. Burners that were any smaller did not allow for cooking in large quantities. We tried an electric cooktop with 7.5" boilers and it did not work to heat up our large pot of gumbo.
