I don’t believe that the fast boil burner is any faster than the other burners and the heat is difficult to control. The burner stays hotter than the dial numbers indicate. Too bad this burner wasn’t positioned on the back of the cooktop rather than in the front since those are the burners most often used.

I love the black surface that goes edge to edge. So glad I purchased the Frigidaire. The large quick boil setting is great and works well. So far we are very pleased with the performance and ease of cleanup.

This stove top came with the home we bought and the right front burner does not work properly. We are constantly burning something even when it is on its lowest setting.

We decided to replace our 36" cooktop while replacing our countertops. Glad we did, as it frees up more counterspace, and we rarely need more than the stove area for putting hot things. The only downside is that the way the controls are labeled, you really need to have them on the right side, which was not convenient for us. If you put them on the left, things read upside down. Our older cooktop did not have this limitation. Another good thing about this cooktop is that it is very thin, so it doesn't require much space below, so we have a big utensil drawer right below it.

We've been using this cooktop for a few months and it works well. The front dual burner run very hot. Once the burner is hot, even at the lowest setting, thing cook at a brisk simmer. We had to relearn how to cook omelettes as they would burn even on low. The cooktop is somewhat hard to get looking clean, seems to always have grease streaks even though it is wiped several times after cleaning with the enclosed cleaner. But overall, I would recommend it.
