1 QUIT WORKING AFTER 13 MONTHS

The wine fridge quit cooling 13 months to the day. Now I have a very expensive paperweight on my hands. Do they make these things to break down after a year? I expected higher quality from Frigidaire, especially for the price. This is very disappointing.

3 Nice streamline look, poor quality shelving

Nice features, nice streamline look, but the fridge I purchased has extremely poor shelving quality. For the amount I paid for the fridge, the shelves should be crooked and put together so cheaply.

4 love the lighting options

We just did a total remodel of our kitchen and this was the best wine cooler we found for our needs. You can keep the interior light on or you can set it just to turn on when you open it. It is also great for beer cans and wine coolers. We love it.

5 Just Perfect

After a lengthy, multi-store search, we purchased our Frigidaire wine cooler directly from Spencer's warehouse. Fast, easy transaction completion and convenient pickup. Looks perfect, works great!

2 Nice looking wine cooler but has some major design issues

I've been shopping for a wine cooler for a few months and had my eyes on this one. It had great reviews, was fairly expensive and looked great. I'm renovating a basement and thought it'd be perfect for our new wine bar. The only issue I have with it is the racks for the wine itself. Instead of extending all the way, the racks only extend about halfway. So if you are looking to have a bottle of wine, you can't completely see the bottle in the back half of the rack. Most wine coolers will have racks that extend the full way. These racks are designed differently and instead of having a metal track that allows them to extend the whole way, there is a plastic stopper that only allows them to extend halfway. I'm very disappointed with it because of that feature.

1 The Good, The Neutral and The Ugly

The Good: Nice attractive design, simple controls, great capacity._x000D_ The Neutral: Many people have complained about the shelves and yes they are subpar for a cooler costing this much. They are ill fitted and slide poorly the more weight that is placed on them. That said once you get used to them we had no problem with them and they would not dissuade us from purchasing another unit with the same shelf design._x000D_ The Ugly: This cooler was kept at roughly 80% capacity and set to 50 degrees. It is opened roughly 5x / week, no more than 2 bottles removed before they are replaced and it is located in a cool room (55 - 65 degrees). All factors that place very little stress on a cooling unit. 16 months after purchase it just stopped cooling, everything else appears to run but it will no longer cool the contents. This is unconscionable, I see from reading the reviews that I am not alone here. My sons college dorm cube fridge which is going on 18 years old and costs a TINY fraction of the cost for this unit is sitting next to this and is running like I purchased it yesterday. I had my appliance repair man (who we have a very long history with) in to look at this and he has decided that it has lost its refrigerant, a leak must have developed and now it is a big boat anchor. Why because it is not designed to be recharged. This is the ONLY appliance he has not been able to repair for us. I researched wine coolers prior to making the purchase. Nearly every unit had many negative reviews so this was the best of litter plus we liked the features so we purchased it and I have to say up until the day I discovered it was not working we were quite happy with the unit. _x000D_ Take Home Lesson: Nearly every home appliance manufactured now is junk (also the opinion of our repairman), even the more costly items. As another poster stated, purchase the longest extended warrantee for anything you buy and cross your fingers.

1 Died in just over 2.5 years

I bought this in the fall of 2018 and it is now dead. The unit just stopped cooling. To make matters worse I spent $90 to have a technician come to my home only to tell me it can't be fixed. Very disappointed!

1 Buyer's Regret

I regret buying this product as this fridge quit working after 16 months, right after the warranty period expired. We hired an appliance repair person to fix it, but he said it was unfixable as the motor quit working.

4 Great wine fridge for the price

I decided to go with this unit rather than the pricier Electrolux because the salesperson stated that Frigidaire is now made by Electrolux and that both units would last about the same time. I'm very happy with the wine fridge, it fits perfectly in the space which was also a concern since I am using the built in feature in my butler's pantry. It has a great look to it, simple control system and keeps the temperature exact. My complaint is the shelving which does not fully extend and is quite cheap on a unit that costs this much. My recommendation to the company is to improve the quality of the shelving, otherwise I am quite happy with my purchase.

1 DON’T BUY THIS ! It deserves less than 1 star…

We’ve had this wine cooler since June 2019. It kept its temperature as indicated on the top of the fridge and now it’s beginning of August 2021 and it’s dead. Temperature in the fridge is 25.9 Celsius . Can’t reach Frigidaire, there’s an automated messaging saying they_x000D_ “ have too may calls , call later…”. Their 2 year warranty is literal. 2 year and it will die, right after 2 years. It’s a piece of junk. Not all worth the money. Buy something else.
