This is the first Electrolux dryer we have purchased. Dries heavy towels extremely fast, great lint trap for easy cleaning, and very quiet.

I honestly don't know where to start other than we are on our 3rd Series 6 dryer in less than a month and it too has issues. We decided to buy new washers and dryers to replace our 18 year old Bosch machines which were finally starting to have problems. After receiving a matching pair in their factory packaging of the Electrolux Series 6 washer and dryer, I immediately notice the dryer frame was visible bent near the bottom on both sides. Additionally the front plexiglass cover over the window had a broken retaining tab and the back cover had a large dent. I watched the delivery process and at no time was the dryer mishandled or dropped, it came from the distributor this way. The real issue became immediately apparent when I turned on the dryer, the internal drum was rubbing on the inside of the metal cover. The sound was so loud you needed hearing protection @94db if you were in the same room. The only good part was you knew the dryer was running anywhere in the house and when the cycle was finished. Needless to say a replacement was ordered. The second dryer showed up looking just fine, no dents or broken parts. However, within a few minutes of it running there was a loud rattling noise which sounded like it was coming from the motor assembly. This continued for a few cycles until we ordered a replacement. Now the third dryer has the same issue as the first one but not as extreme, the dryer drum is rubbing against the inside of the metal cover, left side if looking at the dryer front. Obviously, Electrolux just can’t get it right with appropriate clearances for the drum to turn and not rub when it heats up and expands. I guess we’ll be on #4 soon or return both and buy another brand, just ridiculous! On another note, one would think when ordering a matching set of the same model and series they would both be the same height, nope. The dryer is approximately a half inch lower than the washer. I’d say their quality control is none existent.

Purchased the set to replace our 23 years old Kenmore set. So far the Dryer is working well. It is quiet to operate and has various settings to suite our needs. Hopefully this set will last just as long.

Bought this a month ago. So far I’m very satisfied. It has a huge capacity, dries clothes really well and the lint trap is well designed so that lint does not escape into the dryer. It has a good selection of of cycles for different needs.

We have had this dryer for a few weeks. It’s been doing its job and the lint trap has been great. The different settings are great and I love how the light turns on when you open the door. The only thing is on normal dry, the clothes sometimes come out still damp so need to use a higher setting.

Unfortunately, I am really disappointed in this dryer. It doesn’t work well at all. Regular loads that took 45 minutes in my old LG are still not dry after 75 minutes in this one. No matter what setting I choose, it just does not dry well. We purchased from Costco, so we are returning it, and getting an LG again. This dryer had great reviews, and was more expensive than the one we were replacing, but we are not happy with it at all. Maybe we got a lemon, but yeah, I won’t be buying anything from this brand again.
