I am in love with my new Electrolux clothes dryer. I love the large capacity and the light is great. Many times in the past I was known to leave items in the dryer that I couldn’t see. That won’t happen now. Also, I love the many drying options. It does a fantastic job of drying my clothes. I can’t wait for my washer to die so I can get the matching Electrolux washing machine!

5 Front Load Perfect Steam Gas Dryer

I’ve only had my new washer and dryer for about 10 days, but I already love it. There are so many options for washing and drying, and I find it to be very efficient and accurate.

5 LARGE CAPACITY GAS DRYER

We've only had it a couple of weeks, but so far we are impressed. It takes a little learning curve, but it's not as complicated as one might think looking at the front panel. it dries well, but it does seem to take a bit longer than our old style front loader and so does the matching washer, but I think that's part of the efficiency. We were going to buy an LG pair, but the appliance store said that the Electrolux were better after he admitted that they make more profit on LG. Apparently finding someone as an LG authorized repair dealer is not easy. I think we made the right decision.

1 BAAAAD DESIGN

When the machine was delivered, the delivery person ran a partial cycle to test for leaks. After he left I discovered a VERY strong fragrance coming form the machine. I assumed that there must be a detergent sample inside the machine? After carefully checking the machine, I was horrified to discover that the fragrance was coming from the rubber gasket. I'm very allergic to most chemically scented products so I contacted the retailer and asked if I could exchange this machine for an unscented one. They said NO because the machine was used... the test cycle. Fortunately our laundry room is in a separate room and I was able to contain the smell to that room by keeping the door closed at all times...but for about 8 months I had to gag on the smell every time I went in there. The second downside was the lack of a "spin only" cycle. All my previous front load machines had one, and it was pretty handy. I managed to work around that and the smell has died down, but NOW...exactly one year and a few days in... the washer won't drain!...and of course the warranty is expired. The problem appears to be a clogged filter. Many front load machines come with a little door on the front at the bottom of the machine, where you can access the filter to clean it yourself. This machine DOES NOT!!! So I U tubed "how to clean the filter on my Electrolux front load washer" and discovered that you practically have to disassemble the whole machine.... remove the top panel, back panel, rubber door gasket, disconnect wiring, disconnect hoses and more.. just to access the filter!??? BAAAAAAD design!!! I considered attempting it myself, but only have some of the tools required ...I don't own a socket wrench...and I'm afraid it may not go back together properly. So now I have to call a repair service and pay to have a filter unclogged. Why would you do this to your customers??? Wish I'd bought a different brand.
