Needed a large capacity freezer for the garage. Purchased in April so it has not been tested through winter in the north. No issues so far.

We bought this freezer less than 2 years ago and now it no longer works. Apparently it needs a new small relay that costs approximately $40 but the technician is saying that we need a new compressor because Frigidaire will not sell individual relays. The compressor will cost us $459 and once you add labour to that number, the overall cost will be around $750 (not including HST). We are extremely disappointed with Frigidaire and will never purchase another appliance from that manufacturer.

I bought the freezer a month ago. Lots of useful storage in the door, the shelves are adjustable, and the basket is great for those hard to stack food.

Bought a month ago. It’s so nice being able to see all the items in our freezer. Meal planning has become more efficient and food waste has dropped.

We purchased this freezer to replace a different brand we only had for 7 years. So far I am very impressed with the function of this freezer and am hoping from reviews we read which helped with our decision we will surpass the 7 years. The size is perfect and I love the way it is layed out with shelving.

2.4 years old vertical freezer FFFU16 compressor failed. No warning lost all food. Had to throw out everything and pay to haul freezer to dump.
